Lady in Black and/or Rocker Chic

Ange ou Demon the perfume is a mysterious, seductive scent. The Edp is for me the perfect autumn fragrance, thanks to the juicy mandarin and patchouli that exude an earthy aroma of fallen leaves.

The opening is a delicious, not too bitter mandarin, blended with ethereal jasmine sambac. As the fragrance develops, these floral and citrus notes are replaced by patchouli and a hint of leather. The dry down is warm, amber-like, and opulent, accompanied by a touch of sweetness from vanilla.

The Illicite accord offers more depth with a larger, pleasant dose of alcoholic patchouli and vanilla.

Longevity is satisfactory and projection is rather moderate.
There is no overpowering note that overwhelms everything. I detect neither strong jasmine nor too much sweetness or sharp patchouli. It is really well blended and balanced.

What impresses me is the uniqueness and character of the fragrance.

If Ange ou Demon were a woman, she would be sexy, mysterious, and at the same time confident, wearing lace under a leather jacket.

Definitely a distinctive scent!

The Angelic Demon...

The Ange ou Démon EDP is one of my signature scents, especially in autumn and winter.
With every new "demon child," I automatically feel the desire to possess it, although some flankers from recent years are far too "undemonic" for my taste.
The EDP is simply a stunning, wonderful, deep, and dark fragrance that seduces and hides behind black lace.

The Le Parfum is, in my opinion, already recognizable as a "demon child," but it has a bit more color and pulsating movement within it; it is somewhat more illuminated and playful, yet still sexy, floral, strong, and self-assured. For me as a man, the leather note comes through a bit more, paired with an elegant sweetness, which I really like.
I find the sillage to be very strong and similarly long-lasting as its predecessor.
Although I must say that the EDP almost has a unisex character for me, this one is significantly more feminine, more like pastel pink silk.
I tried layering it once, which was absolutely sufficient because suddenly an angel with demon wings turned into an undefinable, strangely graceful forest gnome... I also think that this whole concept is more of a sales gimmick that hasn't been fully thought through, just like with J'Adore by Dior, where this playfulness also exists, because after layering, the fragrance loses everything that makes it special.

I find this scent to be a definite enrichment in the Ange ou Démon family and in my collection...
