Powdery, ambery, very pretty rose
I only tried this because I read some good reviews. The bottle looks so unassuming, like any other light rose perfume, but Lumiere Rose is more than that.
This rose is dewy, but also warm. The orange blossom gives me JPG Classique vibes, it's soapy, powdery and a little carnal at the same time. I think there must be some unlisted amber notes in this. It definitely has a balsamic warmth mixed into the musky base.
The licorice is soft, but noticeable. This is sometimes said to be similar to Lolita Lempicka scents, but I don't really see it, there is much less licorice in this.
I can sense glimpses of the warm, ripe fruitiness of peach and pear, but in the end everything turns into a very well-blended cloud of rose, orange blossom, amber and musk. It's not an especially fruity scent.
Even though I'm not completely blown away by this, I am very pleasantly surprised. The Grés website (German version) says it's temporarily out of stock at the moment, but I also can't find it anywhere else and the English site doesn't even list it anymore, so I'm afraid this was discontinued.
