Fruity Rose
Here comes the new Guerlain Aqua Allegoria. Rosa Fizz… hmm… Fizz, that sounds like a lemonade or something! But Fizz also means fizz or sparkling water, so that kind of fits. *sigh* I even had to look up fizz, I think my English is terrible waaaah :((

Anyway, we know one thing about the Allegoria fragrances: Most of them smell quite beautiful, and almost all of them are made for summer. Well, unfortunately, we also know something else, namely that these fragrances are usually very weak and hardly long-lasting.

Nevertheless, one shouldn't be too bothered by that, because many of these fragrances simply feel good and smell great! And there’s actually something for every taste!

So let’s see how the new fragrance performs!

The Fragrance:
The fragrance starts with sweet-sour roses and a bit of watery-fruity lychee. Two lovely notes that come across fresh and smell pleasant. I unfortunately don’t perceive any mandarin, and blackcurrants are represented far in the background with a lot of imagination. Yes, the top note is fresh, but not sparkling (still, my cat just ran under my bed… but that’s not due to the fragrance this time, rather because it’s currently thundering a little and the fur monster, who sees himself as the boss of everything and fears no one, is actually a bit of a coward :D).
In the heart note, the lychees disappear and in their place come the plums as a fruity substitute, even though the plums are quite weak. The floral notes feel a bit stuffy, but only very slightly, so it’s hardly noticeable and doesn’t bother much, but I am sniffing right at the sprayed spot, so I perceive this a bit more accurately and wanted to mention it…
In the base, you can smell a bit of sandalwood and (barely noticeable) musk, but the fragrance is still dominated by roses, only that the fruity notes have mostly evaporated by now.

The Sillage and Longevity:
As mentioned at the beginning, this fragrance is unfortunately quite weak as well, affecting both the projection and longevity. The fragrance will only be noticeable nearby for a short time, and the longevity isn’t particularly long, as it lasts only about three to four hours and then is hardly detectable on the skin. So expect to spray this fragrance multiple times in a day.

The Bottle:
The bottle also comes in its usual design, that is, with the cylindrical bottle featuring a domed cap and the gilded honeycomb around it. It is filled with a pink fragrance liquid, and on the front, there is a square white label with a golden frame. The cap is chrome-plated and round. Everything is as beautifully as usual.

Ah, I just see that this fragrance is only available in duty-free shops. No wonder I couldn’t find it anywhere in a store. So a special thank you to Parfuma, from whom I received this sample :)

Anyway, this Allegoria fragrance has turned out quite nice. It’s not a fragrance that you absolutely must have, but it fits well into summer and should especially please those who are looking for light rose fragrances that are not very citrusy.

It will smell good on you (I’ll spare you the usual delicious expressions! :D) and you will probably also find pleasure in it. However, you have to be able to live with the fact that the fragrance is weak and hardly lasts.

For me, there are certainly much more beautiful fragrances in the Allegoria line like Pera Granita, Flora Nymphea, Bergamote Calabria, or Teazzurra (which idiot was actually responsible for discontinuing this great tea fragrance??? I should hit him… I mean it seriously, I’ll hit him!!! Because Teazzurra was one of the BEST Allegoria fragrances), but this one here is also quite nice and worth a look!

Usable as usual as a daytime fragrance on warm days.

Fizzy Bubbles without Sugar
Aqua Allegoria Rosa Fizz may sound similar to AA Rosa Pop, but I like it much better: Not Escada-summer-fruity, not sticky-sweet, but sparkling red-fruity and subtly sweet.
Therefore, a Guerlain summer fragrance that deserves its name.
I actually picked up the bottle in Duty Free just because it looks pretty, with frosted glass, golden honeycombs, and rose-colored liquid. Frosted and in a similar bottle is also this year's limited lily of the valley scent from Guerlain, Muguet 2017, which I don't think is worth 435 euros.
Rosa Fizz is quite affordable in comparison, 100 ml for around 65 euros.
When I first sprayed the fragrance, I expected a reissue of Rosa Pop. But - surprise, surprise - a bitter, slightly cocktail-alcoholic top note reached me, similar to the red fruit genius of the YSL vintage In Love Again.
The base note is also lovely and uplifting: powdered peony, green-fresh on a velvety fruity foundation.
Drawback as always: skinniness. But for warm days, that's okay again.
For years, the first Guerlain AA purchase candidate!

Even though it's ultimately a Fruity Floral, I like it because blackcurrant, lychee, and tangerine are some of my favorite fruits.

Rose bubble water!
Rose ... berries ... musk - that’s it.
Nice ... but doesn’t convince me!

A pretty, light, sparkling, fresh-pink summer scent. Unfortunately, it's a bit weak. Positive: I can wear the musk base.

Fruity, musky, and an unexplainable rubber note, very synthetic rose.. I had to wash it off.
