Once again dreamlike, once again sighing and raving :D
Hello and a nice evening everyone!
Today I'm describing a fragrance from a brand that I think is absolutely great, even if sometimes it could get on the nerves of so many people with its many flankers in some series of fragrances: Guerlain. As one of the largest fragrance houses in the world, they just make great fragrances, most of the time, because of course there are also some weak fragrances from time to time, which applies to all manufacturers.
The Aqua Allegoria range, for example, is great in itself, but of course has some mediocre scents to offer instead of them all being great, but that's a matter of taste, of course, and since this range has so many scents, it has something to offer for every taste. And the many Flanker do not bother me actually also not necessarily (all the same with which mark), since I am actually always glad about well made Flanker, since a loved smell with it times something differently smells and a little change brings. The only bad thing is when some manufacturers jump on the synthetic bandwagon and let their fragrances look quite cheap, which fortunately was less the case with Guerlain so far.
But before I sound like a Guerlain fanboy (but admit that you also like this brand, don't you?? :D), I'd like to come to L'Instant Magic Elixir, which I've almost only heard good things about so far and which also seems to be a flanker (from normal L'Instant Magic). I bet that the fragrance belongs once again in the category where the ladies seem "even more dreamlike" when they spray themselves with it. And hey, the term dreamlike is something different than the usual "biteable", isn't it? D
Hey hey, so let's get to the scent:
Also later I smell heavy flowery smells, which are also strongly sweetish. There is also an almond-vanilla-musk mix, which makes the fragrance soft and gentle, powdery and soft, so that the fragrance stays that way, because it is not too complex. I find the later radiation of the orchids a little muggier than I would like, but that is only a small flaw (in my opinion anyway) in the otherwise so great scent.
Soo... now I also know the Magic Elixir of Guerlain. And I have to say that the fragrance absolutely... yes... as already indicated at the beginning, smells dreamlike. A woman, then! D
First of all, however, I would like to mention that the fragrance has not become very complex for me now. It smells sweet, like almonds and is heavy floral. And strictly speaking, there are already some of these fragrances on the market (but stupidly I can't think of any comparison). But it is incredibly well made and is one of those fragrances that are quite convincing even at the very first sniff.
*yamm yamm yamm*
*bite bite bite*
Yes,... if you want to cause such reactions, spray yourself even more with this scent :))
Only why do I again think that now no one will use the scent? *sigh*
All right, don't get bitten...! Are you using the scent now? Of course not, because after all it is no longer produced, which is a pity. There is still the "normal" L'Instant Magic, which will still be sold, but for some reason I haven't tried this fragrance yet! I have to do that, and I have to do it at the Guerlain stand in the city for lack of a rehearsal, where a rather sweet saleswoman is scurrying around, but who seems to dislike me and always looks at me strangely... *sigh* Life is hard... I think she would only smile if I didn't always just go snooping, but would also take one of the more expensive Guerlain fragrances with me *sigh again*:D
Well, if you get the chance to get this scent here, definitely test it. It is a bit autumnal/wintery, as it already smells very sweet and heavy, and is especially suitable for going out or for the evenings. ... oh man, I have talked endlessly here again... Therefore I finally come to the end and wish you all a nice Sunday evening! :)

Hey hey, so let's get to the scent:
The fragrance:
The fragrance begins with a great almond and musk mix. It is therefore sweet, but also slightly creamy and powdery. By the way, the sweet smell also smells like vanilla, which is perhaps the reason for the powdery notes. There's also the orchid, but since I'm not so sure about that, I'd rather write here instead that the scent smells flowery-sweet for me as well. Later, however, I would say that the flowery scent is the orchid (or at least should be), because it doesn't smell like jasmine, rose, freesia, ylang-ylang etc. and has its very own, flowery scent, which I assign to the orchid (actually you could learn this scent well, but I'm sure I forgot it again until the next time...! :D).
The Sillage and the shelf life:
The durability is above average and therefore good to smell for a while if you are not too far away. The shelf life is quite good as the fragrance lasts longer than ten hours. The bottle:
The bottle has the shape of Guerlain's other "L'Instant" fragrances (before most became cylindrical bee flacons) and is therefore rectangular, rounded at the bottom and therefore looks like a shield. The bottle is dark and has a gold-plated label on the front. The rectangular lid is transparent. All in all a beautiful bottle. Soo... now I also know the Magic Elixir of Guerlain. And I have to say that the fragrance absolutely... yes... as already indicated at the beginning, smells dreamlike. A woman, then! D
