The Bridal Mon Precieux Nectar Variation
Even that this one is not one of my favorites or one that has created on me the necessity of having it, Le Bouquet de La Mariée is in my vision a tipically Guerlain creation in all the possible senses.

The first one is the bridal theme, one that fits like a glove in the brand story, permeated of scented narratives related to love. The second one is a conjunction of classic notes used in the guerlain's signature accord, notes that em several concentrations and combinations have been presented on their creations, used to define the romantic and sensual side of their perfumes (here we find mainly orange blossom, vanilla and almonds). The third and forth sense by which i see this as tipically Guerlain is the recurrence of a certain formula, explored in all of its possible variations in fragrances that are limited in its distribution and tend to last as long as there is stock or interest, married with precious bottles and bigger prices.

Basically, Le Bouquet de La Mariée is the bridal version of the delicious Mon Precieux Nectar, a more bodied version which also references one of Guerlain Sur Measure creations from the past, one called Cute. It's a bridal bouquet where the main flower is the orange flower one, that gives hwere a sweet aroma with grape nuances and one that completes the sweetness comming from the almonds and vanilla. There is something green here that curiously reminds me of tuberose and that i suspect is the angelica; i think it's a interesting association because it cuts at the openning part of the sweetness and suggests, even that slightly, another white flower in the bridal boquet. I would say that jasmine and rose are used in a secondary way here, more to make the sugary white bouquet more harmonious.

A drawback in this composition is that the base is very simple, keeping the vanilla sweetness and adding it white creamy musks; For a luxury fragrance, the one of your special wedding day, it could have been more embellished, more stiking, something to stay on your memories of the bride as something special.

Finally, i can see very clearly (even that this could be easilly an unissex creation) a type of bride here: that one with delicate voice, sparkling eyes, sweet, of broad and infectious smile. But even for those, considering the benefit cost ration and the resemblance with the other i mentioned, i think it's totally possible to switch it for Mon Precieux Nectar on the most special day of your life.

Bridal indeed!
I have both mariee and LPBJDMV and they are very much the same fragrance except I get a lot more smoky incense from Bouquet de La Mariee.

The bitter-sweet angelica is a prominent note at the top (the very same angelica from Angelique Noire) which is made even sweeter by candied almond a Loukhoum type rose with syrupy orange blossom.
All on a base of smoky incense and vanilla.
The patchouli isn’t earthy or green but powdery and on the cocoa side. Both LBdlM and LPBJDMV create a wonderful scent bubble for hours and have above average longevity.
I really wish Guerlain would bring this one back.
It does have similarity to Love, don’t be shy, Guimauve, neroli blanc intense, Sintra but it’s distinctly Guerlian and has more incense and that angelica note which I feel makes it stand out.

The Scent of Hope
The beautifully adorned (Jicky) bottle captivated me immediately, ... when I first saw the design, I joked: "I would even get married again for this one...".
Be careful what you wish for!
Now fate has cruelly played a trick on me. 9 days after I seriously considered the topic of marriage with my beloved, he passed away.
A few days later, I held the fragrance in my hands for the first time.
Bittersweet!
Not the scent, but the feeling I experience when wearing it. It will always remind me of him.
There are indeed similar fragrances that have been successfully on the market for a while. I can detect La Vie est belle, Armani Si, even hints of Elie Saab, Biehl's pc02, Mauves Cristallisées, and the new Narciso, but in my eyes, Guerlain has perfected the theme of "sweet innocence" and completed it in a magical way.
Flowers? Yes. But I don't smell a rose, at most a freshly bloomed anemone, delicate in the background.
Much more present are notes of jasmine and orange blossom.
But even those are merely decorative embellishments. The driving force of the fragrance is gourmand childhood memories:
Cotton candy, roasted almonds, a sweet-spicy candy note.
Sounds sticky? But it’s not! Delicately woven, not intrusive, surrounded by a smoky note like a beautiful dream, just before waking.
Very good longevity - that goes without saying.
A feel-good fragrance, full of hope, kindness, and everything the heart needs to survive... not just mine.

Dancing Water
For nine years, the Swiss Thierry Wasser has been the chief perfumer at Guerlain - the first, by the way, whose last name is not Guerlain. At least in economic terms, he has contributed significantly to the honor and glory of the house with quite remarkable successes. Nevertheless, he is not unconditionally loved by the followers of the old masters of Guerlain's oeuvre. One might debate whether he adapted the trend of sugary gourmand fragrances a bit too eagerly for the economic success of the Guerlain house - or whether he is himself (co-)responsible for this trend - in any case: with a fragrance by Thierry Wasser, one usually expects a sweet scent.

If 'sweetened something' appears anywhere in the listed notes of a perfume, I usually become suspicious - even more suspicious, by the way, with 'salted' or - my negative favorite: 'frosted something'. Almost always, these hide over-processed fashion fragrances that operate on the principle of 'suffocation through hugging' and try to distract from a lamentable lack of everything else with the omnipresent sweetness, saltiness, or frostiness. And when one reads the above ingredients of Guerlain's pink wedding fragrance - especially from the pen of Thierry Wasser - one might expect the very worst. And that indeed comes. And yet not.

Le Bouquet de la Mariée has everything one might expect from a Wasser. Without a doubt, this is a very sweet fragrance. Almond, vanilla, and musk are its characteristic notes - accompanied by something like burnt sugar and vividly shimmering, lovely summer flowers - truly a Thierry Wasser through and through. And yet I would like to strongly recommend a test to those who are now waving it off because they think they have heard everything there is to know about this fragrance, as Le Bouquet de la Mariée plays the essence of Wasser's fragrance creation in a different league than all the well-known hits, noticeably raising the quality bar. And behold: how wonderful it smells!

Conclusion: the bottle alone is beautiful. One immediately wants to marry someone, really immediately. Romantic. Opulent. Skillfully 'over the top'. And its contents are just that - dancing and jubilant sugar molecules, cheerful and lively and sovereign. A radiant and enchanting Wasser.

Dear congregation, we have gathered here today...
… to nail your guts to the mast, you miserable jellyfish!

Okay,… that’s not really how one should start when describing a fragrance that, among other things, relates to weddings, well, at least according to the name of the scent. But ever since the third Pirates of the Caribbean movie and that film quote, I can hardly think of anything else when I hear the opening words “Dear congregation,…”.

But anyway, Le Bouquet de la Mariée is a fragrance that every lady might want to check out, provided she likes sweet-heavy scents like almond and angelica, and yes, the fragrance could certainly be used as a “bridal scent.”

The scent:
I could only faintly detect the citrus fruits; the scent struck me as rather heavy and sweet, as the angelica is quite prominent. You can also smell the almonds well already, which make the fragrance very sweet and initially even a bit stronger as it develops. The beginning actually reminds me a bit of Angélique Noire, which is also by Guerlain.
In the heart note, the angelica becomes significantly weaker and is almost completely replaced by neroli.
The almonds also recede a bit in the base, but they never disappear and remain quite detectable. Additionally, there is a very strong vanilla and a rather less powerful patchouli. You can smell a bit of musk, while incense is only very faintly present. In the end, the sugared almonds and vanilla remain the most noticeable, and the scent also has a slightly powdery quality.

The sillage and longevity:
Oh, the scent is very strong; if sprayed on generously, it leaves a large scent cloud and is quite enveloping. Therefore, it is very noticeable in a room.
And the longevity is also quite good; such heavy-sweet fragrances can last 16 hours or more, depending on how much you apply, you can probably still smell it the next morning.

The bottle:
The bottle is octagonal and has been crafted quite finely. It is filled with a pink/beige fragrance liquid. The neck of the bottle is adorned with a “flower scarf.” It is topped with a glass, half-round cap that looks like four domes fitting into each other. A very beautiful bottle!

Delicious!
Yeah, I mean the fragrance this time and not you ladies, he he.
But seriously, the scent has become an absolutely excellent women’s fragrance for the cold days. Because it is heavy and very sweet, it really fits best in winter.

Since it smells so wonderful, it is especially suitable for going out. This could be an elegant dinner, but it also works very well for partying and celebrations, as it must surely have a great effect on the ladies, and I’m sure I’m not the only guy here who thinks that!
(Just don’t write again that you’re delicious… aaaaaargh…).

Because so much is just right here: high fragrance quality with naturally smelling “ingredients,” great sillage, high longevity, and of course the pleasant scent.
A special fragrance for a special day, so… of course, as mentioned at the beginning, you have to be into almonds, neroli, and generally heavy sweet notes.

And yes, to return to the fragrance name: The scent certainly suits brides very well. And by brides, I mean the real brides who are getting married, not in the sense of brides that you “pick up” :D

It’s definitely worth a test!

Very close to the EdP (Le Plus Beau...) and additionally infused with the water DNA from Guerlain's recent history ("cotton candy") and quite sweet.

Beautifully rounded, velvety-soft
A pink dessert dream.
However, very generic for this exclusivity.

The typical initial density of the extrait soon gives way to a sweet, powdery pink floral carpet.
Very sweet, very feminine, very delicious.

My Exclusive without lavender + much sweeter (can become really overwhelming with the wrong dosage). Longevity - "until death do us part."
