A simple, delicate white floral

The Aqua Allegoria line has never been the star of the show at Guerlain, but if any of them were to deserve more attention that they get, it would be Nerolia Vetiver. Although this fragrance is quite simple, it is very gorgeous, and very enjoyable. Sometimes its nice to have a fragrance that airs on the simpler side of things, especially among the countless number of intense fragrances being released these days. Nerolia Vetiver opens up with a fruity, floral neroli note that is very, very delicate. There is a bit of something citrusy/sour in the opening which contrasts nicely with the neroli. The neroli here is very soft, and ever so slightly powdery, but by no means overpowering. The softness of the neroli works with extremely well with the vetiver in the dry down, which is very earthy and grassy, cutting the sweetness down from the opening. There really isn't much to this fragrance aside from the neroli and vetiver, so if those are two notes that you like, than this is certainly one I would recommend.

Though perhaps not the most inventive offering from Guerlain, Nerolia Vetiver exceeds at what it was meant to do, which was to be a simple, green, floral fragrance that isn't too overpowering or intense. Though I haven't tried the entire Aqua Allegoria line yet, I'm fairly certain that this one will remain my favorite one as it's such an appealing and easygoing fragrance.

Simple perfection

Neroli isn't my favorite, as it often tends to overpower other notes to my nose.

Until now.

This is a masterpiece of simplicity, with every element in perfect balance: fresh neroli, bright basil, clean vetiver, and delicately creamy fig.

It's clean, elegant, soft and fresh.

Full bottle worthy for sure.

neroli and vetiver pretty much

smells very much like the name. neroli and vetiver. very green, soapy, and fresh scent. in the opening it smells very much like perfume, maybe even leaning toward hairspray territory. perhaps it would be nice for a sunny spring day, but right now I am sick and hibernating, thus it is unpleasant.
as it develops it gets a bit sweeter, revealing what I think is the fig note, but it could also read as peach.

Neroli that is totally different from other brands of neroli

This is not the typical realistic and honest neroli scent, but a romantic neroli in the Guerlain style. Rococo neroli.Hmm. Before smelling Forte and Harvest, this was my favorite. It has a bright and clear scent of bergamot and neroli. Vetiver is in the name but it's almost nonexistent, and there's a sweetness of fig. But it's very unisex. I prefer Forte, but I think this one is easier to use for people who don't need the sweetness of condensed milk fig.
It gives me the image of a bright, handsome woman. But it only lasts for about 2 hours, which is very short. And it's getting more expensive every year.

Creamy and fresh

I prefer this to the Forte or Harvest version, as those contain orange blossom, which I’m not a fan of, and make the neroli seem sweeter and less fresh. Overall a very creamy and fresh, mood-lifting scent. This has phenomenal performance, good longevity and projection for an EDT so I bought a 125 ml on sale. The fig in this smells like fig nectar.

As the name suggests, the scent is neroli and vetiver. Fresh, floral, green. The opening is slightly citrus and then the basil also appears.
