Amore mio, oh no, not quite - bouquet of flowers in a beautiful bottle
I admit it, the bottle is to blame for me picking this up in the first place. But it's also really chic and entices with its rose gold and creamy outfit and promising name with floral femininity - at least that was my impression on first contact.
Floral hits the mark. Funnily enough, despite the ample selection in the heart note, I only smell freesia and magnolia and - even if not listed - rose! I search in vain for cypress and plum. The quince or pear in the top note is clearly there, the lemon/bergamot non-existent, at least on my skin. The base is musky-iris-heavy, the woods don't come through for me (a pity, that would have given the fragrance a little more distinctiveness, so it remains very floral and feminine - but not sweet! The longevity is okay for me, after 4-5 hours I can still smell it close to the skin and it lasts very well on clothes. For midsummer it would be too much rosiness for me, but especially now in spring I find it very nice.
As always, I give extra points because it comes in a 30ml bottle, a size that I find ideal for getting to know. You can get this from around €25-30, which I think is okay. you can currently even find 100ml online for around €40, so you can spray it again.
Certainly not a must-have in your wardrobe, but if you like floral-rosy fragrances (without the sugar bomb), give it a try.
