The Oceanic Scent That Converted Me
I’m a sailor and I grew up near the water, so I’m really picky about aquatic/oceanic scents—many of them remind me more of a scented candle in a retired couple’s beach house than the actual experience of being close to water.

I’m pleased to announce that this is an aquatic/oceanic that really does smell like being near the water, not in a fishy or kelpy way, but in a “platonic ideal of fresh rain on fresh green plants” way. The “Baltic sea mist” note, while I couldn’t differentiate between it and any other sea breeze, definitely creates a coastal feeling, rather than simply a rainy one. Long after the drydown, the vetiver and other earthy elements of the scent still remain. Clean, romantic, and infinitely wearable.

abandoned watchtower @ craggy overlook
this is giving lighthouse that has been deserted. you stumble upon it, after deciding to adventure someplace you have no business being.

the waves are crashing hard this evening, the moon is bright, and you can just make out the horizon. you curl up on the dusty wooden floor and for some odd reason find it comforting. you lay your head upon your forearm and fall into a trance of a nap.

I really like this. It is so darn subtle though that I have to reach for the notes. At a glance, it smells damp and a bit dusty. As it dries further, the earthen notes peek through. I think I prefer a scent with a bit more pizazz, but there is absolutely nothing wrong with this one. I would use a candle version in my house.

foggy sea spray on the coast
i wanted a moody coastal fragrance, and this was a perfect choice.

it's musky but not in a gross way at all, the eucalyptus and vetiver bring a good freshness that works really well with the more salty sea smell. smells like being on the ocean without the overwhelming fishy smell. this has just as much of a PNW vibe as Cape Heartache in my opinion, really nostalgia inducing.

i noticed it isn't as strong on skin so would require a few more sprays to truly stand out. i adore the fresh, almost salty foggy ocean smell this has. exactly what i wanted when i was hunting for a melancholic ocean fragrance. one of my top favorite fragrances

Aromatic breath of fresh air
I’ve tried the previous version of this scent and loved it, my only complaint being the poor lasting power. This version smells very similar to how I remember the previous version smelling: an aromatic breath of fresh air, an evergreen forest on the edge of the sea, salty waves crashing against a rocky cliffside. Pacific Northwest vibes. Earthy vetiver ties everything together and grounds it. Compare to Abbott Big Sky, but with more vetiver, or Maison des Animaux Sirius, but with an added earthiness and aquatic notes.

This used to be a 5-star fragrance for me but I think my tastes have changed slightly. Too vetiver-heavy for me now.

Almost creamy, foamy sea breeze with a little juniper-eucalyptus chill to cool it all down. Doesn't really project, though.

My absolute favorite green frag. It reminds me of camping in the Pacific Northwest as a kid. Love how it evolves in the day.

This might be my favorite aquatic fragrance. This water is like the coast of Maine in a Stephen King novel.

Prominent notes I didn’t even know existed. Spicy sea, petrichor but the biome isn’t in the woods. Colder coastal aquatic. Performs well

Stormy coastline forest. Dry down has a lot of eucalyptus. Ozone lingers. Wished the top notes lasted but overall loved it all.

Opens aquatic minty pond, algae, cedar mulch. Soft spice. Drydown like Demeter's Thunderstorm, petichor. Pleasant.

Very minty and aquatic in a beautiful way, but has a very strong and unpleasantly grassy vetiver note that overwhelms its good qualities

abandoned in the middle of the ocean. Something is very, very synthetic in the notes. Bottle feels cheap, a very regretful blind buy.
