Everyone likes coconut. The lemon as well!
Shade of Sunrise: Day 1, 5:45AM (who thinks up such names?) is a fluid holiday feeling in a tropical paradise. I am involuntarily reminded of a commercial from the eighties. Well, you know, the one with the tasty, familiar rum. Speaking of rum, the association with a pina colada cocktail is quite appropriate here.
The beginning starts with a fruity and ripe lemon. But which my nose here strangely enough perceives as pineapple. Probably my sense of smell leads me astray here, because already now I only think Caribbean, Caribbean and Caribbean. A discreet sugar touch is also added. In any case not unpleasant or disturbing. Other fragrances of this kind often know no mercy here. This is something I notice again and again, for example, in the limited summer fragrances of the Escada brand. But literally further in the text. After approx. 30 minutes to 1 hour the lemon/bergamot decreases more and more and disappears behind the next palm tree. Now the coconut takes over and is accompanied by a slightly bitter sun cream. Which I find very nice, but I'm also a coconut fan. You absolutely should be here. This creamy coconut scent is then preserved for a relatively long time. Tested in cold weather, I can still smell it on me for about 5-6 hours
Conclusion: Fruit and coconut lovers will have their fun here. So quickly mix the pina colada and off to Hawaii. At least (sigh!) mentally and at least close your eyes and dream about it.
