One of my favorites

I loved Issey Miyake's line of Pure Nectar. Honestly, the original is better. I don't like that they incorporated a stronger floral note to the premiere fleur. However, this one was on sale at marshalls, lol.
Nonetheless this line of perfumes is probably one of my favorites. It has this distinct masculine ting to it. Which sounds strange because not a single note in here is masculine. It may be the muskiness I'm smelling.
The only reason why I know about this product is because I had a friend in history class who would wear it. I remember telling her she'd smell like a pretty boy. I literally looked forward to smelling her.

When Miyake's First Flower Nectar Reminds You of J'adore

...I can't help it, but somehow it has something of J'adore Eau de Parfum without the heavy Ylang Ylang. In the opening, a honey note greets me, logically, the Nashi pear has a honey aroma. The watermelon is not really noticeable for me as a dewy fresh peony immediately cuddles up to the Nashi pear. On the bottle, there is a delicate open flower, looking like frangipani or hibiscus. The color of the fragrance resembles light liquid honey, which is very fitting in reference to the name. Fruity, floral, and now it gets interesting, the melon, but not overripe, just this hint of a freshly cut melon, as if you were walking past a buffet in a hotel; I can't think of another comparison, this "melon sillage" I perceive in the DD. Vanilla plays a rather subordinate role here. Musk, honey note, Nashi pear, and peony are the main protagonists. It doesn't have an insane sillage, perfect for early summer days.
