Very Successful After Shave

The aftershave version of Le Mâle Eau de Toilette pleases me a lot and resembles the Eau de Toilette very much in scent. Unfortunately, there is again a classic case: it does not last as long or as intensely. Accordingly, longevity and sillage are negligible.

The top note is floral, citrusy, and herbal. I recognize lavender, cardamom, mint, and bergamot. The heart note is sweet-floral with neroli and lovely cinnamon. In the base, I detect tonka beans, bourbon vanilla, a bit of rum, and marzipan, but also a certain woodiness with cedarwood as well as balsamic sandalwood notes.
