A bouquet of peach-colored freesias
Clean flower-fruity scent, not soapy, not powdery, light and transparent, reminiscent of a bouquet of flowers or a mixed smell you might catch passing a flower shop. I get freesia and peach as the most prominent notes and I like both.
It is inoffensive and office-friendly, but be very careful with over-spraying. Knowing the light nature of this one from testing, I used 8 to 10 sprays this morning (something I would normally do only with a body spray). I stopped noticing it a couple of hours after I applied it and couldn’t smell it even when I sniffed my wrists. I thought it's gone and was ready to rate its longevity as "weak".
However, people around me continue feeling it and the scent fills the room. The “room” is actually a glass cubicle with no roof in a large co-working space and when I went out to grab a coffee and came back a couple of minutes after, I felt the flowery scent as soon as I opened the door to come in, as if there were a bouquet of freesias and lilies in there. This is a reminder to be very careful with those light scents that "evaporate within an hour." You might not feel it, but it's very much there - you are just nose-blind of overspraying.
In the evening it dries down to a base on the skin: gentle musk and peach, but stays fruity-flowery on clothes and hair.
I think Lover in Bloom is a perfect scent for warmer weather - late spring and summer. Its opening is fresh and citrusy-fruity, and flowers are sweet, but light and not overpowering. Might be too light for when it's colder. If you want to be enveloped in a fresh, clean, delicate and realistic flowery scent without soapiness or powderiness, it's a buy.
