Go back to where you came from!
So this can happen: overlooked for years, then suddenly caught my eye in the sale of many perfume chains for the first time. And since genuine hidden gems can be found in sales year after year, I sprayed it on boldly. Completely without prior knowledge. Only the fact that it wasn't a new Jil Sander was clear from the sale, and that it certainly wasn't a heavy amber scent due to the (unwanted) label "Sport."

I often contrast negatives with positives in comments. That wouldn't be possible here, as the positive side would simply look too bare. A fragrance that not only reminds one of Axe deodorants with its high synthetic content and cheap fresh scent. And really, no one over 14 should smell like this! Never wear Axe ;) (but still the best-selling "fragrance" series in the world :( ).

The beginning is nauseating - a synthetic, slightly green citrus mush. The middle part earns the most points with a pleasantly tea-like scent. You can save quite a bit with cardamom, even in cheap or low-quality products, as it almost always has a sweet pleasantness, regardless of how natural or not it is. The end is another step down, a woody mess that reminds one of sweaty men's changing rooms - ugh!

Bottle: I would have guessed late 90s - but well, being outdated can sometimes be nice.
Sillage: also more at the level of deodorant.
Longevity: 3-4 hours, no more to be had, even without sports.

A fragrance that makes you almost hope that the current sale indicates a discontinuation. And that's something you wouldn't wish even on your worst perfume enemies. But this one is absolutely not needed in the world!

controlled energy, determination, and grace...attempt failed!
After this fragrance has not been commented on or rated until now - my brief, concise impression:

In 2005, long after Jil Sander's departure, Coty Prestige launched two twin fragrances titled “Jil Sander Sport”.

Even back then, I knew it was an attempt to make up for the commercial failure of Pure Woman and Men from the years 2003/04.

Both fragrances were launched simultaneously and presented in two clearly designed cylinder bottles with vibrant colors - I suspect Fabien Baron, as he also designed the Pure bottles.
The print campaign also appeared youthful and had a certain lightness.
The intention was not sporty action - rather controlled energy, determination, and grace.

The English model Lily Donaldson and the French model Jean Baptiste Degez were the fragrance ambassadors and appealed more to the young generation than to established men or elegant ladies. Photographed by the Brit David Sims against the sky of Ibiza.

The scent is aquatic, green, average:
The opening is zesty and watery - thanks to ginger and cedar needles, the top note resembles the scent of watermelons. Lemon adds a wet sweetness to the whole.

The drydown is unremarkable and characterized by spicy freshness.

The base is an undefined mass of wood notes - absolutely mainstream.

Since it is supposed to be a "sport" fragrance, one should not expect long-lasting wear - 3 hours and Jil Sander Sport says goodbye.

Thus, I come to a sudden end and conclude with the words -
attempt failed, at least for me…

Here we go again - generic shower gel vibes - it's really outrageous to label something like this as a DP - misleading!

A misstep from the house of Sander. This one could have been skipped.

The typical citrus sport scent you buy at DM for around €15!
