Surprising Fragrance Result
When I saw the ingredients of Warek, I thought it would go in a very sweet direction because of the saffron and rose. The opening begins, and for the first few minutes, it smells strongly like Tiziana Terenzi Siené with a hairspray vibe. Once you get past the synthetic notes, it starts to head towards Tuscan Leather with some similarity. The difference, in my opinion, is that it is not as leathery but leans more towards an earthy/oud direction. I absolutely do not smell the rose at all. Over time, it begins to develop a cannabis-like note that then remains completely until the end. And now for the performance! It is not bad, but as many have described, I didn't find it to be that impressive. I wouldn't call Warek a performance beast... The projection is not bad but not strong. The fragrance is, in my opinion, very unusual and not bad, but it's not a must-have, especially at that proud price. Before buying, I would definitely recommend trying a sample :))

So dark as ???? .... or are there words for it?!?
.....Ebony: dark, almost black appearing fragrant, exotic wood. (Gujac wood??)
.....patchouli wafting through desert nights, where one can admire the Milky Way...!?
.....velvety shimmering, very deep red, old varieties of fragrance roses that enchant and almost intoxicate?!?
.....the mascara of the "ancient Egyptians" to protect their eyes, which smelled of balsamic resins?!?
.....the birch tar, whose scent conjured up fairy tales?!
......eternity, which cannot be measured, and to which incense is dedicated?!?
My knowledge is not sufficient to approach this fragrance analytically. It wants to be experienced with imagination, which cannot be explained by pure logic and knowledge of fragrance molecules and their arrangement.
"Warek" leads me into unknown regions of my own being and thinking. And brings me to the limits of what can be understood purely intellectually.
It is neither "GOOD" nor "EVIL," beyond all of that. And simply FANTASTIC!!!!

That is a younger bro to Overture form Amouage. Really. And I love it.

A resinous oriental, earthy with date oil (very oriental) and extremely powerful

A gently smoky and warm oriental leathery-woody Fall fragrance, balanced by an uplifting spicy bitter-green opening. Cannabis as a bonus!

Karl Nabis and Mario Ahna are both drawn to the lightly sweet-spicy saffron vibe
Sensory overload

In what combination do you want your rose?
Rose-Oud,
Rose-Saffron,
Rose-Patchouli or maybe
Rose-Leather?
Yes, I do!

The saffron bomb for sure... one of the most unique scents I know... incomparable, lasts forever, and you really have to like it.

Saffron with a hint of sourness. Rose suggests fruit (raspberry?). A slight "grass" note from guaiac and incense. (Sample: Test)

Leather with an earthy, brown incense. Woody in the middle and in the drydown. The leather is always present here. However, too synthetic.

Is it just me, or does it have something of Tuscan Leather?
