The streets are empty, the end is near...
Somehow, the description did not quite fit the ingredients - for my sensation - but made me curious about the concept and how the fragrance maniacs handle it so, is then just times quickly ordered from overseas.
What then arrived, has surprised me but something. Because it fits more to the described, apocalyptic mood than I would have expected.
Winter of 99 rushes forward first with full spice. Fiery nutmeg trickles quietly into the fire bowl, where the burning wood crackles leisurely. The glow has attracted some passers-by, at the same time melting the snow. In the later course also the timid sultriness of standing winter air shows up, which is somehow warm and cold at the same time.
But first you can watch the blinding sunset in the big city, how very slowly the fireball sinks towards the horizon and caresses the silhouette of the skyscrapers. Exhaust fumes flow through the alleys, as it were, but also winter pastries. With a lot of sugar. So much that the crumbs in the baker's bags used to light the fire cover the entire room with the burning scent of caramel. No one knows if the sun will ever rise again, so heavy and final is the air in the alleys.
At the same time, the scent is not winter clean, but arg dirty but cozy and yet somehow disturbing.
And even after hours, the scent does not lose its fullness, its power, its cold and burning warmth and spice.
A very successful, albeit sophisticated and definitely not for everyone wearable fragrance that exudes more apocalypse than I expected, although I had definitely imagined it smokier and edgier. In the end, it's just that my sense of smoke has been dulled by loud incense in my youth. Yet I have never smoked ..
