To me, it comes across as fresh and floral without becoming particularly heavy. Orange has a lovely zesty note, while the floral notes provide the soft sweetness.

I actually find the La Vie Est Belle DNA quite pleasant. However, L’Éclat leans more towards a very sweet, almost dense direction for me. At first, there’s a bit of freshness, but that quickly evaporates. Unfortunately, it’s too much for me, even though it really lasts well. The bottle, though, is stunningly beautiful.

La Vie est Belle L'Éclat L'Eau de Toilette starts off refreshingly sweet - fruity, but also subtly citrusy - herbal.

At first, a sweet and fruity note can be perceived, which gives the top note a "soft" quality and is thanks to the mandarin.

At the same time, the mandarin is underlined by another fruity note, which is responsible for giving the top note a somewhat illuminating quality and comes from grapefruit.

These two notes are enveloped by a lively, peppy note that provides the top note with a pleasant refreshing feeling and originates from pink pepper.

In the background, a fine subtle citrusy - herbal nuance of bergamot can be detected, which further enhances the "refreshing feeling".

The entire top note is carried by a typically tea-like aura, which brings a hint of hibiscus and lotus, giving it a pleasantly uplifting quality.

Already in the top note, a "hint" can be perceived, which unfortunately becomes even stronger in the heart note.

This constellation is perceptible on my skin for 20 minutes before the heart note unfolds.

Now, a sparkling, floral, and very bright note is noticeable, which gives the fragrance a pleasant lightness and is thanks to the neroli in combination with orange blossom absolute.

These two notes are enveloped by very pleasant floral notes, which bestow a very intense femininity to the fragrance and come from jasmine absolute.

In the background, a deep and also captivating floral note can be perceived, which gives the fragrance a pleasant substance and originates from Turkish rose.

All of this smells remarkably good; however, the fragrance is slightly overshadowed by the hint from the top note, which becomes increasingly evident the closer one gets to the skin:

Namely plastic, which retreats almost completely after 3 hours, but unfortunately not entirely.

The heart note is perceptible on my skin for 5 hours before the base takes over.

Now, a very fine and subtle powdery - floral note can be detected, which gives the fragrance something "beautiful" and is thanks to iris concrete.

There is also a slight earthy, sweet nuance that provides a certain depth and is due to patchouli.

These two notes are enclosed by a clear and transparent note, which comes from ambroxan in combination with musk.

La Vie est Belle L'Éclat L'Eau de Toilette is a pleasant companion in the spring, summer, and autumn months for younger and older women who are looking for a light, bright, floral, and flowery fragrance and can overlook the hint of plastic.

Overall, the fragrance lasts 8 hours on my skin.

The sillage is designed from the beginning to be clearly noticeable at arm's length, and this is maintained for 3 hours before it gradually reduces until the fragrance finally fades completely.

...it's starting to feel a bit eerie ;-) because: I usually don't get along with LVEB due to the cotton candy or praline note (which ruins the 1st EDP). The L'eclat EDP was the first LVEB that I liked right away despite the still present sweetness, probably because it already had that beautiful zesty citrus combo in it. The EDT finally has even more of that zest! Although I wish the sweetness had completely disappeared in the EDT, unfortunately it is still slightly present depending on my mood. The scent itself starts off citrusy-fresh-herbaceous for me and then quickly transitions into a light floral note that transforms into a lovely creamy note by the base. Depending on my nose's mood (or hormones), the aforementioned sweetness comes into play or not. In the former case, you can clearly recognize the LVEB DNA, while in the latter, you might think more of an Eau de Cologne. Then the scent is unbeatable for me, reminding me of the 70s and a great time! The fragrance carries exactly the aura of that era (yes, I believe in such things :-)) into the here and now. The bottle is also beautiful, reminding me again of the 70s (probably because of the sparkling disco balls ;-)) and fits wonderfully with the scent and name, in my opinion. The sillage and longevity are also decent, so one should be careful with the dosage. I'm curious to see how it performs in summer; so far, I could only test it up to 10 degrees Celsius or in freezing temperatures. Here, I already notice slight differences, especially when the air is more humid. In cold, dry air, it feels distinctly cool, the warmer and more humid it gets, the softer and more charming it becomes. For a rather synthetic fragrance, this change is quite unusual, but it allows for some "playing" with it. All in all, LVEB L'eclat EDT is an absolute recommendation for all lovers of floral scents. For LVEB fans, it might be the first flanker that doesn't resonate as well as its predecessors or one that you need to get used to.
