Where have you been all my life??

“I've been everywhere, man, Looking for someone, Someone who can please me Love me all night long…” ok enough with Rihanna!
All I want to say is that this is what I feel about this fragrance!!

I don’t like summer fragrances or citrusy scents or aquatic scents which are more appropriate scents for hot weather. I sure enjoy coconut and fruity scents but everything I have found has some disadvantage which is usually the performance. I mean I know it can’t smell all day on my skin with 40 degrees of Celsius outside , but at least let me reach work place smelling it!!! If you have any suggestions for summer scents that last a decent amount of time, please feel free to leave me a comment and I would be very grateful!!

This fragrance is a gourmand creamy scent with dominant peach and coconut that has a great performance! It can even last all day on my skin and clothes if I spray a bit more than usual! If you like peach, you will love it! It’s very well blended and gives a summery vibe without being a typical freshie scent.

I remember I loved la nuit tresor but I haven’t smelled it for a long time in order to compare it with this. I usually don’t smell releases like this because they are copies of the original but this one didn’t remind me of something I ve smelled before!

Since I started this hobby with fragrances, I don’t have a signature scent because I can’t stick to one fragrance for long! But this one I believe it will be my signature scent for summertime! If you love gourmands and peach you should definitely try it!

Trifft sofort ins Herz!

Ein Duft, der auf subtile Weise bezaubert! Beim ersten Aufsprühen entfaltet sich eine warme, aner frische, cremige Kokosnuss-Note, die sofort ein Gefühl von Geborgenheit und Sinnlichkeit vermittelt. Die Kombination aus Vanille und Rose verleiht dem Parfum eine süße, aber elegante Tiefe, die sehr feminin wirkt.

Obwohl der Duft nicht den ganzen Tag anhält, hat er eine angenehme Präsenz, die für mehrere Stunden spürbar bleibt. Er ist eher zart und zieht sich nach und nach zurück, sodass er ideal für diejenigen ist, die einen unaufdringlichen, aber dennoch besonderen Duft bevorzugen. Besonders abends, in entspannter Atmosphäre, kommt seine zarte und intime Ausstrahlung zur Geltung.

Trotz seiner zarten Art bekomme ich bei jedem Mal, wo ich den Duft trage, unzählige Komplimente! Er ist ein Duft, der auffällt, ohne laut zu sein, und der durch seine warme, einladende Aura überzeugt. Für mich ist es ein Parfum, das perfekt für besondere Momente ist, wenn man etwas Einzigartiges tragen möchte, das nicht überladen wirkt.

Malt Candy Scent

Usually I like the Coconut note in perfumes as long as it is part of a mix. As a single note it can get too much. Terracotta Le Parfum by Guerlain, Alien Goddess and Hypnotic Poison are all three great loves of mine. Especially Terracotta has a rather distinct Coconut note among the others. I was therefore looking forward to meeting La Nuit Trésor Nude. But something about it bothers me and the only reason I can come up with is the nutty/creamy expression that reminds me of a special kind of hard brown sugar candy with some kind of spicy taste. I do not like these.
Back when I was a kid I remember we used to visit a friend of my grandma’s. She always gave us this particular dark, brown candy and we were too polite to say no. I soon found a way to get to the bathroom and spit it out. It had a chocolate-y spicy dark taste - nothing I was used to. And I have never learned to like it.
La Nuit Trésor Nude has a note that smells like this particular candy. I am quite sure that I will not learn to like it. But I have decided to give it a try since it so highly rated. Maybe it is an acquired taste. Maybe I will grow to like it… as with coffee, red wine, coriander and olives. Who knows?

Undressed

I admit - I don't like being undressed.

Collective nudity bothers me even more - so much so that I avoided the family sauna at home.

It was creepy during a vacation in Sardinia when the whole group joyfully stripped off their clothes on the beach.
Ah - everyone was so free and carefree!
And so natural!

For me, it's not natural to run around and sit naked all day long - I find it very uncomfortable.

I obeyed the peer pressure - but I found the back-to-nature behavior silly.

Moreover, undressed people have a different scent than those who are dressed.

And this skin note also greets me in Nude.

The peach rolls sweetly over it and coconut veils the scent milky - but I still perceive this slightly sweaty note that doesn't want to keep its distance.

I feel uncomfortably undressed - and I start to feel cold.

Maybe I would like this phenomenon in summer - but today I set the Nude bottle aside - and instead bought myself a soft warming scarf.
