I want you...
Although you are so hard to come by, I really like you!
Ansaam Gold by Lattafa is simply a perfectly balanced masterpiece. The fragrance reminds me a lot of Kilian - Don't be shy. I wouldn't say it's a 1-to-1 dupe, but it's definitely in the same fragrance family.

At the beginning, you are surprised by a lot of pear and berry notes. Over time, the initially fruity fragrance develops in a completely different and very rosy direction, closely followed by some musk.
In the drydown, it suddenly becomes really sweet again and I can really understand all the associations with marshmallow. Cotton candy would also go well here.

If you're looking for a feminine and multi-faceted fragrance, this is the one for you. If I had to categorize the fragrance now, I would see it in the "cozy" winter time as well as in spring. Whether in the office, leisure time or going out - Ansaam Gold is simply an all-rounder and a faithful companion in everyday life.

As usual with Lattafa, the durability is once again above average and the price/performance ratio is absolutely fantastic!
But there's a catch: unfortunately, this little gem is really hard to come by at the moment.

I really hope that our paths will cross again at some point....

Headfirst into the candy stand?
I don't think I've ever eyed a fragrance for so long, lurked for so long and pondered for so long as I did with Ansaam Gold.
Either it was sold out, had become far too expensive for me in the meantime or at some point I no longer felt like I absolutely had to have it.
In the end, a bottle arrived in my collection and I have to say: I COMPLETELY underestimated the fragrance.

After reading reviews, statements, TikTok and the listed fragrance notes, I was expecting a sugar-sweet marshmallow bomb with candy-sweet pear, musky plum, somehow a fragrance that screams Barbie, pink and squeaky.

What you actually get: a surprisingly grown-up, admittedly very sweet, but also very finely woven, feminine musk scent with pear (which I never thought I'd like so damn much in fragrances), raspberry, soft marshmallow or candy, a touch of orange blossom and jasmine/rose. I'm not sure which of the latter I perceive more strongly.

Although a gourmand, I wouldn't say it's one of those heavy, winter-roaring scents that otherwise gives you an unspeakable headache and drives people away.
Due to the flowers and fruits, the rather powdery scent, I see it both in spring with the first rays of sunshine and the first green as well as on balmy summer evenings. In the fall in the office or yes - in winter as a cozy fragrance.

I believe that this is also its greatest strength: it is absolutely and completely suitable for everyday use. It never bites, it never pushes so far forward in terms of sillage that other, more delicate noses take flight (cf. the potency of Shaghaf Oud or the like), it always remains delicate, although still easily perceptible.

All in all, I admit: despite "I've had enough" and "do I really need more?", it will now move in after all.
Even if it doesn't last 12 hours+ but rather 6-7 hours, I don't know of a comparable fragrance in this price segment.
Lattafa is also in top form here, from the design of the bottle to the type of outer packaging and the fragrant quality of the contents, so I couldn't help myself: I clicked on "complete purchase". I'm really looking forward to my sweet, creamy powder dream, even though I prefer the absolute, oriental crushers, the dark, heavy (gourmand) fragrances.

Soon it will be mine.

Elegance on a budget

I bought this scent after reading online that it was a dupe for Oriana by Parfums de Marly and Killian Love Don’t be shy. I compared the scent profiles of both Oriana and Ansaam Gold, and there wasn’t so much similarity, but when I sprayed both, I could barely tell the difference until the dry down. On initial spray, it smells like sweet florals from the candy, raspberry, and jasmine. Because of the blend of the middle and base notes, it smells like there is a marshmallow accord. Ansaam Gold's dry down is not as sweet as Oriana's. I wore it yesterday, layered with Al Rehab soft roll on perfume oil, and the performance was far above average. I got a whiff of the scent at the end of the day, but keep in mind that I am not a light sprayer. Overall, it smells very similar to Oriana but costs a fraction of the price, so if you're looking for a more affordable alternative, this is it!

Great dupe for PDM Oriana
This is probably one of my favorite perfumes to come out of Lattafa. I’ve tried, owned, and decluttered quite a few of their fragrances, but this is one is just too good to not have. Yes, it’s a dupe for the very popular fragrance PDM Oriana, but I think it’s way better for the price point and resemblance.

Ansaam Gold is a *sweet* candy like fragrance, with a touch of citrus, florals, and a hint of powder. It’s delicious, it’s addictive, it’s fun, flirty, and super duper girly. This is for anyone that’s into super sweet and feminine fragrances. While I enjoy a good unisex fragrance, I do have my days when I want to smell and feel hyper-feminine. I was scared that the fragrance was going to come off synthetic because of the sweet notes, but there is no synthetic vibe here at all. It’s very well blended and performs really well. It’s soft enough to be be an everyday or signature scent, and is versatile for all seasons, day or night. I think it’s quite great on its own, but it could also layer well with other scents to add some sweetness as well. I feel like it can also be easily oversprayed without it being unbearable or overpowering.

I got this from Triple Traders for like $35 and I feel like this should cost more than what it does. Lattafa did a wonderful job with this dupe and if you haven’t already, definitely give it a try!

Edit: I’ve since declutterred my bottle because the scent is too sweet for me and I’m not crazy about the overall scent profile, but it’s still an amazing, affordable dupe.

I am missing something
An oriental women's fragrance, which is not bad, but something is missing in this fragrance for me.
Fits well for work, it's not heavy. It's a sweet, not overpowering fragrance. Fits for very young ladies, but I don't see it on me. I've already had something along the same lines from Brit Rhythm for Women, Burberry, used up the whole bottle, but somehow I don't want to repeat it. But this fragrance is also a cheaper alternative to Oriana's fragrance, Parfums de Marly, smells very similar, if someone likes this fragrance, you can buy it cheaper.

Not too sweet on my skin, somehow I tend to pull the florals more, but it's a reliable scent I tend to use for work more than leisure.

Yum! On me a lovely, intoxicating scent of bergamot, white petals, powdery candy hearts and vanilla. Both sensual & demure. I want a backup!
