Love at first sight!
Khaltaat Royal Delight is a very nice scent considering the price.
The opening is a refreshing experience: it opens with notes of apple mixed with other fruits, creating a vibrant and fruity scent.
As the fragrance settles, a beautiful fresh DNA unfolds. While in the base, a woody-musky-ambery accord strikes the perfect chord.
Longevity is good, it stays on the skin for 4-5 hours, projecting in a moderate way and leaving a gentle sillage.
It's the kind of scent that catches people's attention without be overwhelming.
Regarding the comparison with Armani Code, honestly, I don't think it's an exact copy.. It seems like a mix of many designer fragrances condensed into one unique scent.
For 15 euros for a 100ml bottle, you can't ask for more than this.

I Found Myself Within A Forest Of Dark
If you’re intent on blindly buying this Arabian perfume, don’t expect something Middle Eastern-style, because Royal Delight contains no opulent roses, medicinal oud, or leathery saffron in its recipe. Far from it. Instead, it is a sort of predominantly fresh, very aromatic perfume, with green, herbaceous, semi-fougère tones, with a masculine slant on my skin. If I had to find a place for it, I would put it next to perfumes like Fierce Cologne, "Coach for Men | Coach", Legend Eau de Parfum, and Percival. They all have the same common thread, fresh, aromatic, and green. Yes, the blend of lavender, geranium, and coumarin, is the template of fougère family, still there is more to it.

Royal Delight opens immediately with fresh, aromatic, and green accords. If the bergamot gives a sour and citrus touch to the opening, in reality, it is the lavender, very aromatic and herbaceous, that dominates the scene. On my skin, the citrus appears tart, while the lavender releases sweetish tones, with mentholated and balsamic influences, never pungent, but rather greenish and fresh. The first impression is that of a perfume that smells clean, airy, and fresh but not aquatic, with the fresh-out-of-the-shower effect.

As the citrus tones subside, the rosy and dewy notes of geranium emerge, herbaceous, with a minty profile. The green cardamom rules the middle stage, with a smidgen of spiciness without leaning towards an Indian market. The spices are cold, with no trace of warm nutmeg, clove, or cinnamon. Not mentioned, I catch the green and dewy facets of the violet leaves, which add a smidge of cold powderiness with no petrol inflexion. This cold balminess, courtesy of green leaves and purple lavender, lasts hours before Royal Delight turns into dry-down mode. If I smell it from close range, I get that effect of the balsamic essences that clear the nose and help to breathe better.

When the perfume becomes perceptible only close to the skin, I smell a smooth patchouli, with a little touch of earthiness, but which does not stand out from the crowd and does not bother those who cannot stand its earthy and dense aspects. It is a modern and clean patchouli that blends with a creamy, not overly cloying vanilla lingering all over. It is a spicy vanilla, with no gourmand aspects, just a bite of sweetness. A good bit of sweetness. For a sweeter and deeper vanilla taste, you’d better check Royal Blends Gold. On the finish, there is also a dry woody accord, that of cedar wood, which manifests itself with resinous tones without veering towards the typical aroma of sharpened pencil shavings.

To wrap up, it is a sort of clean and refreshing fragrance, with an herbaceous lavender touch. It does not go through a few stages, and the character is pretty linear without too many changes. But the footprint is clear, no question about it. Good performance, more than half a day, and great projection at the beginning. I will use it daily, office safe, sporty, during spring and fall days, and summer nights. Once more, it has that masculine slant on my skin, but I am not saying it is for men only.

These are my feelings based on a bottle I’ve owned since April 2024.

Spicy herbs and bergamot woods!
When it comes to that little bit of "class" that a fragrance exudes, it's often the mixture that counts. And the proportions of the fragrances in relation to each other. And "class" is often defined very differently by different "noses".
In this beautiful "quasi-Arabian", it is the spicy and herbaceous notes that are slightly emphasized. The lavender stands in exciting contrast to the somewhat "peppery" cardamom and gives me an "AHA!!! experience" of a special kind. This successful "dissonance-harmonious" basic tone makes it unique. The "flowery herb" and "exotic spice" interlock like the gears of a mechanical clock and set each other in "motion" for a long time.
Subtle additions add the finishing touches to really set the scene without making themselves stand out. Bergamot floats cool and citrusy above it and a warm "base" of woods and patchouli ensures a long and rich finish. Nothing "weighs you down" here and nothing is "limp and dull". The "middle layer", which is fresh and floral (rose geranium) and has the effect of a light summer breeze accompanied by delicate powder, is also really interesting. The company "Lattafa" knows how to surprise again and again without wanting to imitate the "super niche". This "Royal Delight" is a good example of this class!

Well seasoned and refined with fresh lemon...
There are perfumes that you simply don't expect. And then there are fragrances like this one, which makes you smell it - only you don't end up in the desert, but in the office? This one was a blind buy and I think that will happen to me more often now with Lattafa. Especially when you think of the "ridiculous" price.

This fragrance combines Orient and spice with a certain freshness after a shower. And it does that really, really well!

The first impression - Fresher Designer?

Right from the first spray, a fruity freshness unfolds in your nose as you stroll through a market in the Far East. The citrus scent is accompanied by lavender and rose, which give the whole thing an almost "friendly and nice" freshness - as if James Bond were politely holding the door open for you and saying: "In you go."
The heart note - "spice rack meets (training) suit"

After the initial fruitiness has settled a little, things get exciting. This is where the spicy notes come into play, transforming the fragrance from a nice freshy to a serious macho. I think this is due to the cardamom. This spicy depth prevents the fragrance from becoming too sweet and gives it character. It doesn't scream for attention, it simply demands it. In my opinion, it goes well with suits and sportswear.
The base note - "durability at a high level"

Once the oriental has settled, the true language of the fragrance comes into play: a warm, sweet and woody base with cedarwood and vanilla. You might think this sounds like a heavy fragrance, but you'd be wrong. It remains light enough not to be overwhelming, but at the same time lasts so long that you will still notice it on your clothes in the evening. While many designer fragrances need a life preserver after three hours, this one lasts longer - like a power bank so you don't run out of battery. H/S top!
Office and everyday suitability - "Not too much, not too little"

There are fragrances that are as unsuitable for the office as a bucket of confetti at a court hearing. This EdP, however, is a master of balance. It is present without being intrusive, charismatic without being dominant. Perfect for everyday life, whether in the office, playing sports with friends or on an evening date with the love of your life.
Conclusion - "Business class meets upgrade"
If you are looking for a fragrance like this, you have found a real insider tip for a small price. The blend ensures that it can work both during the day and in the evening. It also has a longevity that puts many more expensive perfumes to shame. I think it's a real must-have for men!
The bottle is of high quality, heavy and also looks good. Fits well in spring and summer. Overall, a solid 8.5 out of 10 for me!

The Fresh Oriental
If you are looking for fresh fragrances or like Afer Shave, you have found just the right thing here. The fragrance is very reminiscent of Old Spice Captain. I think you can combine it well.

The fragrance oil is highly concentrated. Even after swimming in the lake you can still smell the perfume for a long time.

Fresh lemon kick with a hint of lavender, wood / herb and vanilla.

Fresh and fruity fragrance which might evoke memories of Armani Code but blended with a distinct twist. Will be my go-to scent for office :)
