Mahasin Crystal Violet Lattafa Eau de Parfum

I initially had my review listed under the perfume oil. Now I noticed that the Eau de Parfum is listed, so I corrected it and included it here.

Here we go.

For a small price, a lovely fragrance that doesn't need to hide.

With this Lattafa, patience is the key. So I sprayed it for the first time, sniffed it, found the scent okay (floral, clean, pleasant, doesn't bother anyone, etc.).

Then I left it untouched for a few months, took it out, sprayed it, and hello: what happened to you? Somehow more intense, somehow tuberose-like> but a fresh, clean, pleasant tuberose. Even though it's not listed, I can perceive it.

Surprisingly, the liquid of the fragrance is bright purple. You have to like it. It's something different and fortunately, it doesn't leave stains on clothing.

On my skin, I perceive the scent for about 5 to 6 hours, but on clothing, it lasts a whole day. My clothes then smell so pure, fresh, clean, and above all floral.

In any case, it's not a scent that bothers, quite suitable for the office and similar settings.

A few months ago, I stumbled upon this perfume while online shopping and thought it might appeal to my girlfriend. So I ordered it, and lo and behold: She loves it dearly!

The most striking feature of this rather unknown Lattafa fragrance is the purple-colored juice; it looks really elegant in its rectangular bottle with a transparent cap.

Mahasin Crystal Violet has an interesting character. Once sprayed, it inevitably reminds one of that typical hair spray scent at the women's hairdresser. As it develops, it becomes a bit more floral and slightly moves in the direction of "Bright Crystal Absolu | Versace," although I wouldn't call it a clone in my opinion. The longevity is average, but I didn't expect more for the price, and it's sufficient for my girlfriend.

Conclusion: Amid all the hyped fragrances from Lattafa, it is refreshing to discover other, lesser-known perfumes from this fascinating fragrance house. Some women might be put off by the strongly synthetic hair spray top note, but in my girlfriend's case, it was an absolute hit. I can recommend this scent to anyone who enjoys smelling fresh and floral and wants to carry the DNA of a hair salon on their skin - in the best sense of the word.
