Endless rose & oud

I am not able to understand the reason behind this name . This is and mildly sweet oud .. ambery and with a hint of rose and cumin . Nothing new and an oriental concept for a Spanish perfume inspired in a park in our capital , Madrid ....

The performance is stunning .

Roaring and Purring ...

After being made aware of the rather unusual "Un Paseo por Madrid" fragrances by Loewe through a very nice perfume (thank you dear Skjomi:-)), I can't seem to shake them off at the moment.
Thanks to Skjomi, I was able to test this one from the line as well ... and I really like it again, as it has some surprises in store.
The top note with rose and bergamot has well hidden itself from me, meaning I can't smell it at all. This might also be because I dabbed the small, fine sample instead of spraying it.
For me, this Loewe starts with a loud roar, which means: Oud, and quite a lot of it! Not piercing but very demanding and seeking attention. I don't smell patchouli, but the sandalwood makes the oud very wearable.
Oud and sandalwood linger for quite a while, and just when I was wondering if the Loewe can do anything other than roar, it completely transforms.
The Loewe is now purring, and I want to pet it and cuddle up to it :-). Tonka bean and amber make it wonderfully soft and gentle without being sweet - I really like that, as I'm not a fan of vanilla or gourmand scents.
However, the Loewe doesn't become boring or completely cuddly here, but retains a certain spiciness that prevents it from being too agreeable. It remains a lion, not a kitten, but has two sides, like everything in life...
The sillage is very good, and the longevity is over 8 hours as well!
A great fragrance that I would love to have in my collection :-) . I'm already looking forward to its roaring and purring again ...
