Hacivat Black
Hawas Black is the brother of Hacivat Nishane. I own both, and Hawas Black actually gives the same vibes and impression as Hacivat.

A citrusy opening of bergamot and grapefruit blended with smoky pineapple, followed by a woody scent and then oak moss that continues and overpowers.

It's hard to differentiate between the two fragrances overall; unless you own Hacivat, you will notice in the drydown the purity, uniqueness, and softness of the oakmoss note in Hacivat, but in Hawas Black it comes in a synthetic sharper form.

Hawas Black's performance is very distinctive and almost equal to the performance of Hacivat's older versions. It lasts for several hours, more than 6 hours, with a noticeable and strong performance that attracts compliments.

The fragrance is spring-summer, suitable for any time of the spring, but on very hot summer days it is preferable to use it in the late afternoon and summer evenings.

The most notable negative points I noticed:
- A harsh, somewhat annoying synthetic fragrance.
- The bottle design is glossy black and may leave fingerprints on it when held.
- The liquid inside the bottle is dark brown, which leaves dark marks and stains on clothes and skin upon use. Therefore, I advise using it from a distance away from the skin and never using it on white clothes.

Personal Rating: A fragrance for Hacivat lovers at a reasonable price and definitely worth a try.

**Beast Mode Hacivat: A Study in Olfactory Precision**
Beast Mode Hacivat: A Study in Olfactory Precision
The application of Hawas Black demands a certain reverence, a deliberate artistry that unveils its truest character. I have found that a precise distance of six inches from the skin—neither too near nor too far—allows this fragrance to unfurl with a grace akin to a flower in bloom, its notes cascading outward in harmonious diffusion. It is a curious omission, is it not, that such a fundamental detail—so pivotal to the fragrance’s expression—rarely graces the discourse of the olfactory community? Applied too closely, at five inches or less, the scent collapses into an oily, muddled veil, clinging stubbornly to the skin, its potential stifled within an hour.

Yet, when granted the space to breathe, Hawas Black reveals its splendor. The opening is a vivid proclamation of bergamot—crisp, radiant, and commanding—for a full hour, its citrus brilliance reigning supreme. As this initial flourish recedes, it yields to a tender interplay of notes: the sweet, succulent juiciness of pineapple entwines with the fading bergamot freshness, while the verdant, earthy whisper of oakmoss begins to rise. Patchouli, subtle yet assured, emerges to weave a thread of woodiness through the composition. Over time, the fragrance deepens, its tone growing warmer and more resonant, yet it retains an invigorating freshness, buoyed by the lingering pineapple and the diffusive embrace of ambroxan. From my 8/24 batch, it endures effortlessly for over eight hours, projecting boldly for two or more, with sillage that surpasses the ordinary.

A Reflection on Evolution
Further acquaintance with this elixir reveals an even more remarkable tale. The union of that sweet, buoyant pineapple with the musky, enveloping drydown of ambroxan crafts a scent that is both jubilant and emboldening—a quiet surge of confidence that lingers on the skin for an astonishing eighteen hours. With just four measured sprays, the projection remains formidable for two hours, tapering to a medium, yet perceptible, sillage by the twelve-hour mark.

Hawas Black proves itself a masterful companion for layering, particularly when paired with Qaed Al Fursan. This combination elevates the pineapple to a luminous crescendo while softening the oakmoss into a mere whisper—an alchemy that delights the senses with its tailored finesse.

In its essence, Hawas Black is not merely a fragrance but a journey—an eloquent dialogue between skin and scent, precision and passion.

Masculine Alternative to Hacivat
I love smelling like this, the dry-down is woody, mossy, and citrusy. It's 85% Hacivat, minus the powdery accord and some of the light/airy feel of the Nishane frag. Personally I prefer this difference, the DNA is far less unisex without those elements and so Hawas Black feels more masculine. It's a beast performer in terms of longevity and it has good projection. It must be noted though that there are some downsides to this frag. I adore the dry-down, so I put up with these faults. Firstly, the opening is a harsh citrus which I find challenging to enjoy, though it settles down after an hour into a beautiful scent and for me that is totally manageable. Secondly, the atomiser often gets stuck and requires a few pumps to get it working. This is mildly frustrating but I can live with it. Thirdly, the juice is very dark in colour so it can stain clothes. To mitigate this, I spray from about 8 inches away to diffuse it maximally. If I plan on wearing a crystal-white tee, I spray this on my neck before putting it on. I guess this is the price to be paid for saving £300 having not gone for Nishane.

Redundant fragrance experience?
This is my first review ever after being a silent reader for years. It also seems to be the first longer review of this fragrance.

I have already tested many similar fragrances of this type: Aventus from 2017-2022 (often they were samples, but here and there bottles), Hacivat, Rumz Al Rasasi Zebra, CdNiMLE, CdNiM Parfum 150ml, Al Haramin L'Aventure + the Intense version, Afnan Snoi, Qaed Al Fursan and more...
So that you can understand on what basis I compare and evaluate.

It took a long time until the fragrance was finally available to order in Germany. So I waited eagerly for it and was not disappointed.

The fragrance is very close to Hacivat.
90% similarity I would give to Hawas Black.

It smells very masculine, woody, mossy.
I don't detect any fruity notes.
I don't need to say more. DNA is very popular and many people know this type of fragrance.

Quick aside: A colleague at the gym came up to me and asked if I was wearing Aventus... I said no and pointed out Hawas Black. For people outside the perfume world, it seems to remind them of Aventus. Whether that's good or bad, everyone can decide for themselves.

The fragrance hardly changes, so it remains linear, which is not a bad thing, as I find the DNA (especially from the hacivat) very pleasant.

The longevity and sillage could be described as beastmode. The fragrance lasts 16 hours on the skin!!! 24 hours in total if you smell it really close to the skin.
3-4h the fragrance projects enormously! I could still smell it on my clothes 3 days later.

My tip: immediately after spraying Hawas Black, simply add another spray of Qaed Al Fursan on top. This is how you build up a great Hacivat DNA plus the sweet-fruity pineapple of Qaed, which results in an incredible fragrance cocktail a la "fruity pineapple batches of Aventus" + "Hacivat oak moss".

Is it now a redundant fragrance experience? YES
Does it matter to me? NO
I like DNA very much (not exclusively). But for days when you don't know what to wear, DNA always works.

P. S. : Afnan Snoi does NOT smell like Hacivat. To me, it smells like synthetic currant and smoke for hours. Because of its performance and pleasing scent character, I kept wearing it until a woman once told me I smelled like currant+shisha bar. That was the day I stopped wearing Afnan Snoi.

Over and over again...
Hello everyone,

this series of fragrances is a bit of a (bigger) mystery...!
Why exactly?

I've known the Hawas for Him since 2016 and have easily emptied 6 bottles by 2023..., it's just that one fragrance that never bothers you, never bothers others and you can use it at almost any time of year and in any place, even during and after sport.

However, after 7 years I no longer enjoyed using it and the Hawas Ice didn't give me the same feeling in the long term. Then a few weeks/months ago the Hawas Black came out, of course it has a certain similarity to the Hacivat, + the Absolu Aventus and in the end you can also see the Aventus basic idea somewhere here and it doesn't have to be anything wrong at first, even if it feels like the 1714 version :P .

It's freshly fruity, pleasantly earthy (not disturbing), it's definitely citrusy and there's also something green and spicy.

Its absolute strength is (typical Rasasi) the absurd H/S and ultimately also the price.

Of course, I have to say here that if we are talking about quality, then Nishane and even Creed are far better these days and it is NOT to be argued away that the brand's fragrances do not stand for quality now, BUT they score points for things that others smear in this respect!
And not everyone wants to and can spend xx - xxxx euros on a fragrance and that's perfectly ok at the end of the day and I certainly wouldn't criticize that, why should I!
Can I recommend it?

A test won't hurt anyone financially and then you can see whether you like it or not!
And now have a nice day/evening, or whatever you read this review, LG the Benny

GOAT of all masculine scents.
Sharp citrus, sharp, pungent smoke, masculine patchouli base. Strong, very long. When will it be discontinued?

Very similar to Hacivat with a good performance. It is a fresh, earthy, and masculine scent. No smokiness as SNOI has.
