A Calone/Tiare hammer
Calone and Tiare start as a strong duet in the top note. Reminiscent of the beach, suntan lotion and sea breeze in a distant, almost abstract way: clearly pungent, aquatic and slightly creamy, floral and musty.
This top note stays with me for a very long time and is present throughout the fragrance. Later, slightly spicy nuances try to announce their presence, but are unfortunately lost in the top note. Only the base flatters me again with soft, warm, sweetly subtle woody notes. Overall, I find the fragrance thematically misguided. I would classify something else as "Mediterranée". The strong opening alone, which overwhelms almost everything else, is something you have to endure or like. Longevity for me is about 4-5h with medium silage. On clothes 12h+ and thus significantly longer lasting. The bottle, like all the others in the line, is very well done.
