Sweet as in "over the top-fruity-sweet"...
Blind buy, based on tips from fellow fragheads, I waited three weeks for a 50 ml. bottle of this juicy (get it?) juice and after complaining to the retailer they dug out a 100 ml. bottle for the same price within three hours - sweet! Put it right on and all I got was sweet pineapple and strawberry - and lots of it. Tried it several times and nothing changed, just too sweet and cloying - no freshness or spices anywhere to back it up.
Would I eat it if it were a dessert? Definitely. Would I wear it as a smell? Definitely not.
This is not my thing, luckily I got to trade it with another fraghead for something spicier.

BTW, what's up with the skull hanger on the bottle and Iggy Pop doing the commercial? No punk here, should be a Barbie doll instead.

cypriol oil
The opening of Black Xs L’Exces is actually quite similar to the original. It has the familiar lemon note, but in the original it smells like strawberry candy, and L’Exces smells more like pineapple. Yes, the ingredient is lemon, but how it blends with the other notes produces a different aroma.

What I noticed most, is that it doesn’t have the same sharpness or overwhelming patchouli note that original has. This is great! The note is still present, it is just that it has been subdued and doesn’t have a praline sweetness to blend with anymore.

So, in a real sense, L’Exces isn’t intense or excessive. It is a cleaner version of the original. What you get is the citrus/pineapple aroma, sitting on top of a woody/lavender base that is soaked in amber.

It is bright, fruity sweet, and with an outdoorsy heart lurking in the background. It’s pretty linear, but as it dries down, it gets less citric and the other notes take a bigger stage. Mainly, the more outdoorsy or woody notes.

Wild Strawberry Battle of the Spirit of the Times
Yesterday tested it as a 1-2 punch with the original Black XS and I am extremely positively surprised. A reinforced, darker version that hits the zeitgeist as accurately as one can. Even Black XS was well received by the youth, L’exces is even closer to the spirit of the times.

Very comparable to Bang Bang, One Million, The One, Joop Homme Wild, or Only the Brave (Tattoo), not just in terms of audience. Much is said about these ultra-modern sweet candies, often mocked and dragged through the dirt. I like to smell sweet, even as a man. Not every day, but anyone who says these perfumes stink has probably miscalibrated their olfactory bulb. Okay, it's all a matter of taste, but sweet is not the same as bad, many confuse that here. And old is not the same as masculine either. But that can be debated.

I like these young wild ones and L’exces is a prime example. Very similar to Black XS, just a bit stronger, more mystical, better. Black XS was sweet and a bit weak, L’exces is very sweet and doesn’t shy away from it. Here, berries are also in the foreground, but the slight smokiness makes one think more of the forest than of strawberries. And of course of cocktails, disco, and far more refinement and sexiness than with the regular Black XS. It’s simply a darker berry mix, maybe some cherries pop up…very delicious, especially if you enjoy desserts! But even if you, like me, prefer hearty dishes, this scent is not to be underestimated and is moving onto the wish list, also because it is very affordable.

The bottle is a smaller evolution compared to the scent itself, with a small flashy skull pendant and a slightly different color scheme. The longevity is significantly longer at 8-9 hours than Black XS, good investment and tinkering has been done here. The sillage is also a whole class stronger, almost playing in the Champions League and should not be underestimated.

Overall, an even greater recommendation than Black XS and especially more than XS… unjustly in the shadow of the gold bar. Fortunately, however, not as much in the shadow as the also recommendable Ultraviolet!

Simply awesome!
Xs Exces may have the most ridiculous name ever, but it packs a punch! The bottle already reveals everything; it is flashy and intrusive, anything but understated. Unlike 1 Million, it is allowed to be that way! Simply delicious, masculine, awesome, fits almost any occasion. The sillage hits harder than you think, and everyone benefits from it, even over a longer period, and when you've actually forgotten that you used XS L'Exces today. This XS version outshines all the others. I detect a lot of strawberry in it, somehow also pineapple, and, and here I seem to be the only one, cherry. Okay, 65 euros for 50 ml is quite steep and on Chanel level, but if you're willing to spend that much, you should go for the 100 milliliter version, as it strangely costs only 12€ more. Moreover, the scent is super economical, always applicable, fortunately still quite unknown, and just fabulously awesome!

Comforting Fragrance
I bought it blind because I was always attracted to the bottle of Black XS, even though it is not of very high quality. This bottle with the skull I initially perceived as a collector's edition, only to be surprised to find out that it is an original creation.

Well, I am very taken with this scent, incredibly warming I find, not at all suitable for summer as many think. I smell a smoky cherry that, mind you, becomes sweeter and sweeter…. This lasts for about three to four hours. Then the scent fades into a vanilla & chocolate note that is close to the skin.

A very successful and rounded fragrance!

Really don't know why people say pineapple is in the notes. Never mind great spring scent for teens with nice performance . 7/10

At a daytime part in the summer, it actually would work pretty well. I’d lean towards spring and summer nights, either case would be fine.

I have to honestly say, this scent is a success.
The lemon is in the foreground, with a subtle sweetness in the background (wearable in summer).

It smells like burnt plastic with sweetness (very overpowering and annoying). A scent I could never warm up to.

Candied raspberry. Very intense and long-lasting raspberry scent. Unfortunately, it’s also very one-dimensional and childish.

Top note unbearable and piercing, base woody and unsweet, only for men.

I see it as a winter perfume
Pineapple with citrus fruits, strawberries & cypriol and patchouli with amber
With a light touch of lavender

Woody-sweet with a certain freshness. It's pleasantly soft and different from the fragrance notes primarily mentioned here. Definitely worth a try.

Great scent if you like fruity notes. I find it very unisex and perfect for a summer evening. Tutti Frutti at its finest!

The scent is very nice - the lemon and lavender combined create a strawberry-like fragrance. I'd say the longevity is a bit short.
