A moment of pistachio, hours of sweetened rubber gloves
Notes-wise this sounded perfect to me. I'm always on the lookout for original pistachio fragrances!
Unfortunately, it didn't work out for me at all.
The first spray isn't too bad. Roasted pistachio is noticeable immediately, blended with a creamy white floral note that smells more like orange blossom to me than the listed tuberose. I love the realistic pistachio note, but it doesn't last long. Instead a very harsh, synthetic note creeps in that reminds me very much of a fresh rubber glove. And it will not go away. I have no idea where it is coming from. Maybe the almond milk note is meant to smell like the most poisonous facets of bitter almond, but even that doesn't explain it. I tried this on my skin three times and always got the awful rubber note, and I just can't stand it.
The rest of the scent only turns sweeter. Apart from the rubbery smell, it reminds me a bit of Guimauve (Mi Fa/Fleur de Délice) by Reminiscence. Both are sweet white floral gourmands with a marshmallow-like texture. The difference is I love Guimauve and find Dilshad to be quite cloying and overwhelming. It feels so opaque and sticky to my nose.
There are worse scents out there, but I'm really not impressed and wouldn't know who to recommend this to.
