vague floral

Candy Florale has little in common with the original or l'eau. Benzoin and caramel are nonexistent in this juice. All I can smell is floral notes and lemon ice in the drydown. I had high hopes for this one, but it smells awfully similar to Estee Lauder Pleasures Pop. This sits close to the skin and is veeeeery light, appropriate for springtime.

Synthetic jasmine-scented hairspray

To me this smells like a jasmine-scented (I know it's not listed but it smells like it's there) hairspray, that dries down to a powdery indistinct-white-floral hairspray.

Nothing else, not very memorable - pretty generic and synthetic. There are a lot of beautiful white-floral fragrances out there, and this wasn't one of those for me. Definitely sample this before buying a full bottle!

So fresh and clean!

This is hardcore a shampoo scent. Smells like the super popular girl in high school who would gel scrunch her hair back in the early 2000s. I love it, but I love shampoo fruity florals. Dylan Blue Femme is one of my favorites.

I was surprised how strong this was, four sprays and my entire kitchen filled with the smell and everyone could catch it feet away. But within an hour you couldn’t smell a thing. Even on my skin and clothes there is just this hint of honeyed floral lingering. However, this bottle is still pretty new so I am going to give it a month and revisit.

Any type of lemon notes don’t really agree with me and thankfully, I can’t smell them at all in this. It is very floral. Not gourmand at all.

One negative, when sprayed on dirty sweaty skin it almost smells like wet dog. No idea how or why, but I was out doing yard work and before running to the store quick I sprayed some on me and it went terrible in about twenty minutes. It never does this when I use it in the morning after a shower.

Vive la Liberte

After I clumsily and embarrassingly struggled with the cap of the bottle for quite a while, I finally received the first spray.

Forale is not as sweet and caramel-heavy as the original Candy, but it is attractively fresh and summery.

The Limoncello Sorbet is more cool than citrusy, which I like very much.
However, the peony is definitely in the foreground.
It exudes a floral - clean scent, slightly soapy - but not biting.

You feel like you are dressed in a bright white, freshly ironed summer blouse that doesn't weigh down the skin and cools slightly.

A drop of honey and a hint of caramel have been added to the ironing water, which conveys a certain cheerfulness and lightness.
The musk is smooth and creamy and clings to the skin.

Nevertheless, Florale is not a cuddly scent - it dances freely through the world.

Although "Made in Spain" whispers to me: Vive la Liberte!
