Cherry Coke

I have a new obsession. Cherry Coke. Since newest there is the sugar-free variant also in Germany and now always a box stands with me in the larder. Ice cold from the fridge, from the matching Coke glass, perhaps with an ice cube... Moah! I'd say that's probably my truck. And pretty much at the same time as I discovered Cherry Coke for myself, I also closed Prada Candy Gloss into my heart.

Somehow the two have something in common: they are sweet, but also a bit prickly, a little vanilla in the finish, and of course the cherry is in the foreground. Full, bulging, red, maybe a little artificial. The pink of the bottle goes well with the fragrance, it is not as striking and sticky-sweet as the original Candy, but much more spring-like and fruity

Prada Candy Gloss

I am not a fan of Prada Candy, too powdery on my skin. Candy L'eau is better, I don't love it but I do like it. It's lighter and fresher than its predecessor, it's a shame that it was discontinued. Prada Candy Gloss is a solid love for me. It's a complete deviation from the other two that I mentioned. It was a blind-buy so I was understandably nervous but after the first spray hit my body and I got a good whiff of it, I breathed a sigh of relief.

I recognized the cherry right away, that's the note that stands out to me in the beginning. It settles on the skin quickly and I can smell the almond and vanilla mingling with the cherry and I have to say, I really do get a "cherry lip gloss" feel from this fragrance and I truly enjoy it. If I didn't know what this was and someone told me that it was a unisex niche fragrance, I would believe them. I can't pick out the rest of the notes because they're so well blended but the overall effect is so pleasing. Not the same by any means but certainly in the same vein as Maison Margiela's Lipstick On (which I also have) but true to its name, it's more glossy and less lipsticky.

I find this fragrance different, unique and interesting. No one will be able to guess what you're wearing with this one.

Staying power on my skin is good. Three sprays in the morning easily lasts me all day. The Fall-like weather we've been getting in Ontario has been perfect for this scent to really shine.

I don't think that it's a safe-blind buy for most people so be sure to try before you buy.

Cherry candy

In here= Turkey we have cherry candies and I like eating them. It smells like cherry candy. (Not relate with original. I used to have it in highschool it is more caramel.) On clothes performance is good but I bet on my skin not good. Sometimes it smells unfortunately synthetic, artificial to me. + I like it overall and younger girls must like. Pink is suitable color. If SYRUPY/SYNTHETİC smell no longer in here I would like more. But it is still in my want list :)

Luscious Cherries

I blind bought Candy Gloss and was hesitant to spray before bedtime. I sprayed it into the air and walked into the mist to be sure it wasn’t too potent on my wrists.
What a lovely scent! The first whiff of cherries made me immediately fall in love. It’s not too sweet. It’s a bit powdery though, and very feminine.
I’m always seeking a new cherry perfume that isn’t cloying or migraine inducing. This perfume is absolutely lovely!
