Million Gold is underrated...
I love this. It's got the one million dna, for sure, it's just that it hides quietly in the background, but it is definitely present. And, without doubt it has that Santal 33 dna. It's no clone, though, as it does its own thing. The blending is so smooth. Quentin Bisch is a genius imo. From the first spray it captures my attention and keeps me loving to catch whiffs of it in the air. The longevity is incredible, and it pushes off of my skin strongly for 3-4 hours at about 4-6 feet range, so my daughter tells me. I dont get why this fragrance is so underrated..? If I had to guess I would say that it's just because it isn't a typical million flanker, and most were probably expecting something different. I'd highly recommend it...

Fragrance Notes

Base Notes:
Cedarwood, Mandarin Orange, Sandalwood, Spice Notes.

Fragrance Review:

First thoughts, this is a woody/warm spicy fragrance for men, similar to One million Prive.

- Milliion Gold starts off very woody with a warm spicy cinnamon scent with a touch of Mandarin Orange in the startthe mid and drydown just consists of Sandalwood + spices.

- I sprayed a total of 5 times. Twice behind each ear, twice on the front of neck, and once in front of my chest. The longevity is good, it lasts approximately 7-9 hours on my skin, projects for about an arms length for 30 minutes to 1 hour before turning into a skin scent. It does however lasts a few days on my clothes. (Depends on skin types)

Overall Rating (8/10)
A completely different scent profile coming from Paco Rabanne. If you're used to sweet and fruity scents, then Million Gold might not be for you. Contrary, this leans more towards a warm spicy boozy/woody scent.

Nothing special
Different notes and accords notwithstanding, Million Gold doesn't strike me much different than 1 Million Royal which I tested the other day. Gold is a little less creamy/smooth. Perhaps the spices stick out a bit more. All in all, pretty much the same, sorta generic and nothing special. Longevity was very good, similar to Royal however the sillage was a bit weaker than Royal.

I suppose if you like Royal but want something that's a bit safer, you could go with Gold. Nothing special to induce me to buy a bottle.

Million Gold Review
I’m still fairly new to exploring deep into the Fragrance world. I’ve always loved cologne, scents, home smell goods,& grew up with my Mother always burning Scentsy & wearing the few fragrances I loved and knew about, but the past year I’ve struggled with some mental health, depression, anxiety and found that fragrances & just simply spraying one spray & smelling them bring me some happiness/joy, so I’ve went down the rabbit hole that the FragComm warns you about & started buying decants & sampling hundreds of fragrances, journaling about them, researching about them & because I’m newer to the actual research/breakdown of fragrances my nose is still green so to me in my opinion “Million Gold” smells good/mass appealing, but it’s nothing special. It reminds me & seems similar to “One Million Royal” but more simple/easier to wear. In my opinion it would be best in fall & winter, & possibly in early spring on cooler days. The longevity on my skin is about 5-6 hours as a lighter skin scent. It is overpriced so wait till you can find it for cheap on discounters. It’s a good scent for the general person just wanting a fragrance that smells good.

The boring adult
This version manages to noticeably soften the familiar DNA of One Million and give it a spicier twist. The sweet base note remains recognizable, but is complemented by warmer, drier spicy notes that give the fragrance a much more restrained and wearable effect. However, all these small changes and additions feel boring and somewhat irrelevant, as they do not add any value in my opinion.

Compared to the original, it seems less loud and less intrusive. As a result, it is not immediately noticeable, does not impose itself - and that is precisely what makes it more pleasant for many everyday situations. The youthful, sweet overload of the original gives way here to a somewhat more mature blend.

Those who never quite got on with One Million, but liked the basic idea, are offered a toned-down and more sustainable version here - with more spice and an altogether more mature appearance.

Way better then 1 million edt. Goes a bit into the direction of Scandal from JPG. A bit too feminine for me.

Nice sweet fragrance. Nothing special but smells good. Reminds me of a easier version of “1 Million Royal”

Opens like the classic One Million and in the drydown reminds me Seminalis by Orto Parisi. Not impressed by this but good longevity!
