Dirty musk
Sorry but no. This is huge no for me, and may be the first musk that turns this way to my nose.
The bottle is lovely, Monegal is so trendy in my country, I am a musk lover. But OMG this turned so bad.
On paper I should love this fragrance: it has pink pepper, lilac, jasmine, musk, sandalwood... many of notes are part of most of my favorite perfumes. So I thought it was a pretty safe blind swap. I was SO wrong.
I can't be sure where it comes from, maybe de musk is too animalic, maybe the jasmine is too indolic. But, for sure, it smells to me like nasty body fluids. I won't entertain into details, but as soon as I opened the lid it reeked. A nauseous scent hit me and, as usual when you don't like a fragrance, the projection and sillage were above this world.
I am still in shock, wondering what turns this scent so bad. I love white florals and have never detected the so called indolic-faces scent. I love musky fragrances and have never perceived nothing like this. Can't figure out what it is, but it is definitely not for me.
Despite all of that other reviews on the Internet seemed not to have such a visceral repulsión for this perfume, so maybe is just my nose. Anyways, I recommend to try before purchase. Not a safe blind buy.
