Effortless weekend by the sea
Every now and then I spoil myself with Rituals shower foams and oils. On my lucky days I get treated with small gifts for loyal customers. In one of these days I got a miniature of Rituals Oriental Essence Oasis de Fleurs.

About the scent.
Imagine, after a walk by the sea, you decide to relax under a tree. A fresh breeze wakes you up from daydreaming, surrounding you with a scent of delicate flowers. The scent is creamy, enveloping and with just the right amount of sweetness. It’s getting hotter and you decide to treat yourself to a glass of mint water with a few slices of orange…or was it mandarine? Refreshing drink was delicious but ends oh, so quick. For a while you enjoy the view trying to guess the notes you smell in the air, and once again indulge in dreams…

I enjoy this fragrance on the lazy warm but not too hot summer weekends. But I must confess, I won’t buy a full bottle. It has a slight oriental touch from sandalwood that keeps me from falling for it completely.

Sweet flowers from the Orient
Yesterday I stumbled across a Rituals display which struck me because the friend was recently scented with rituals, which appealed to me very much.

So I stopped at the "Fragrance Bar" to try.

The title Oasis of Flowers sounds promising.

I've never been to the Orient before and certainly not to an oasis.
I only know the " Squash Oasis " in our city - and this is more a place of transpiration - than of inspiration.

But the Rituals Oasis is indeed very inspiring.

I am surrounded by sweet flowers in a very pleasant creaminess.

The mint keeps the relaxing scent transparent and soft moss gently embeds it.

A mild fragrance - which cautiously appeals to the senses, doesn't impose itself - but is always present.

This oasis is really a place of peace, where you like to rest and come to your senses.

Thanks to the friend who made me aware of this label

A creamy summer day
Rituals...doesn't like every woman, because they are very unique and green.
A friend gave me shower foam for my birthday, which smelled like the sea.
My mother happened to have a voucher from D. left over and couldn't do anything with it.
So I enjoyed it and stocked up again.
In the beginning I notice something citric..it should be orange and bergamot from the described top note, paired with a creamy lightness. However, the initial citrus scent quickly fades away and turns into a creamy green. I only perceive the mint with effort. If it wasn't in the fragrance pyramid, I wouldn't have noticed it at all.
The scent lasts well throughout the day and reminds me of the sea. I really like the scents of rituals. They are based on natural smells and therefore make them so special. A light flower joins the gentle creaminess (soapy smells different) without being obtrusive or sweet like candy. So it makes the fragrance feminine, but not too hackneyed 08/15.
He smells clean to me.
In short, the scent doesn't scream, but is rather the mild summer breeze that you like to turn around to sniff again.
A good gentle blue-green everyday fragrance for the summer.

My absolute favourite Rituals of all time. Aquatic with craftfully layered flowers like being on a journey on an island by the sea. Perfect.
