Rituals has finally released a new series - as beautiful as the other series.
I have tried various Oudh fragrances and I really like this one. The body mist is completely sufficient, as it already smells very intense. I would rather spray it from a distance and not "pointedly." Often, a fragrance with the name Oudh combines rose and agarwood, and I am often bothered by the rose. It feels too "fruity" for me then. I like that there are fewer fragrance notes here and no rose. The body mist smells very earthy and profound, somehow "rich" and captivating. This makes it feel valuable and noble, "clever" because you can tell that a well-sensory person created this scent. And because of how it smells, it is a great price for this fragrance! It smells more natural and precious than more expensive fragrances.
I also compared it to a leather scent and distinctly noticed that leather smells harder but fresher, and the contrast of the earthier but softer patchouli was clearer to notice because of that. In my opinion.
I give it 8 stars, but maybe it’s a 10; the 8 is just my subjective view because I am too delicate for this scent. I might get a headache if I wear it in summer. That doesn’t change my respect and recognition of this fragrance!
