no poison, just invigorating freshness!
"Atropa Belladonna" is simply the poison of the belladonna, called atropine.
I can't understand why Shay & Blue chose this name for this summery light fragrance; it's not poisonous at all.
Rather cheerful and invigorating.
Just like "Framboise Noire", "Atropa Belladonna" is a fragrance of clear lines: without frills, without blurred contours.
These two fragrances remind me a little of different Jo Malone creations, which also carry this clarity in themselves and are therefore extremely pleasant to wear in summer.
I already got to know and love the bitter aroma of black currant in Shiseido's "Vocalise". Since then I have had a special fondness for it.
In nature, these fruits taste and smell a little chemical. They are mostly isolated and do not appear in panicles like their red relatives.
In the fragrances I could always perceive this bitter freshness, which is to be equated with coolness.
That's why I like them so much when the thermometer rises and every bit of coolness is welcome.
Also "Atropa Belladonna" welcomes first with this fruity freshness.
Jasmine and the white daffodil, two flowers that are native to different seasons, complement each other wonderfully here.
The slightly "stinky" white large-flowered jasmine (I still like it) and the purity of the white bulb flower together with the black spherical fruit form a surprising but very pleasant mixture.
This flowery fruity freshness acquires a very feminine touch through the creamy-warm very fragrant Bourbon vanilla. So far the unisex note predominated for me.
The erotic heaviness of vanilla combines seamlessly and fluently with the golden sheen of patchouli.
This blend of fruity floral freshness and warm erotic nuances is what makes this summery fragrance so attractive.
The clarity radiates a cooling freshness - it is simply refreshing.
Here nothing is powdery or creamy; no, this scent is clear like a glittering drop of water, a cheerfully jumping over the stones fragrant stream.
The shelf life is that of an average summer fragrance; a spray from time to time is necessary or even desired.
The new fragrance is extremely compatible with the diminishing breeze, which pleasantly surrounds the skin.
Atropa Belladonna" is also a fragrance that is very suitable as a "Hairmist". Some splashes on the still damp hair and the freshness swings pleasantly with every movement of the hair.
After "Framboise Noire" "Atropa Belladonna" is the second fragrance I got to know.
Both have convinced me and will accompany me safely for some time.
It's worth making their acquaintance.
