oh, no - this premonition!
And I wrote under Geli's comment: ... this could easily "go south"!
My mom would once again groan: "You and your premonitions! How do you do it?"
She often despaired of me, perhaps suspecting that she had brought a kind of witch into the world.
Just last night, I sang the praises of the brand "Shay & Blue" for "White Peaches," unreservedly enjoying the beauty of their fragrances.
That's why I approached "Amber Rose" completely unbiased; even though my great affinity for rose has faded with age.
Now I sit here smelling as if I had generously rubbed myself with rose vinegar!
The first shower unfortunately didn't help much. Let's hope that this vinegar, like all its brothers and many of the fragrances from this brand, will quickly dissipate!
"Amber Rose" opened with an abundance of very dominant roses.
I thought: Well, May roses - they need more strength than their noble summer-blooming siblings to better cope with potential cold snaps of spring!
So, these roses have strength and they are not willing to compromise with this milk-sugar-vanilla cream called Dulce di Leche: on the contrary - this rose scent turns quite sour here!
Even the actually so noble aroma of white amber cannot change that.
My skin seems to be a choreographer whose script this fragrance creature cannot read - it dances to its own rhythm!
It makes me a little sad that my joyful and positive approach is so radically rejected here.
Well, "Amber Rose" and I have significant communication difficulties.
But wouldn't a few small thorns have sufficed to show me that?
No, it has to be vinegar right away, and not in small amounts!
My dear, this fragrance creature is quite sour!
Oh, Geli, I'm so sorry!
Still, thank you very much for letting me try this sample.
I'm sure this fragrance will move on to someone who will be the right partner.
Unfortunately, I am not!
