Rainbow changes
MUKHALAT ABEER AL MAJLIS - I would like to know, what does the name mean. This fragrance can not be categorized, can not be closed in a small box and class, and if I would sort my samples according to types, I would be really confused now.
The beginning is mellifluous oud-amber mixture. Ok, oud is not amongst the notes, but I can not name this first intake of breath other way than oud. Together excessively sweet, dried fruits. Within a few minutes it gets a powdery, dry aroma, and the sweetness fades away.
After donning, I did what people do when they do not intend to sit next to their own wrists with investigation all the time, till the fragrance gives up the fight and slips to the non-existence. But actually I was overtaken. A nice, creamy scent enchanted me, but when I sniffed it closely, behind the friendly and luring creamyness there was a dead-wood odor, which I really like, but it is not for human skin, it is the scent of deceased trees, and is very frightening to smell. This astonishing paradox made me stay with the MUKHALAT in my mind, so I could not concentrate in 100% to my tasks.
This cunning perfume does not bow to be calming and frightening at the same time, it decides to show its last trick: a red-currant / elderberry / I-don't-know-what-kind-of-red-berry, tart base. Maybe vetiver plays here with my nose, I am not sure, but it is so refreshing, what is really surprising from a base.
If you do not like it in the first or second stage, do not worry, it will change a lot.
I do not know yet, whether I can get used to MUKHALAT ABEER AL MAJLIS or not. I assume, I will try it again and again to find out the answer till I run out of sample :-)
