A sweet pineapple on a stainless steel table!
Once again, I've been led to make a blind purchase.

This fragrance is unfortunately often described as "too sweet" or "too synthetic".

I don't think so.

Yes, it is sweet and if you smell it too close, a slight synthetic comes out.
When it's in the air, it smells the best.

But what does it smell like now?

If I may describe it figuratively, it smells like a fresh sweet pineapple sliced on a stainless steel table.

It smells very pleasantly fruity and slightly metallic and minimally smoky.
He has 100% the pineapple building block of Aventus. He also has no need to be particularly masculine like Aventus.

I find it independent, fresh, sweet and versatile.
He holds easily 7 hours and radiates strongly in the first 5 hours.

It's less unisex and more masculine than I expected.

A fear that fortunately did not come true.

From me and from my environment a clear recommendation for the price! :)

Refreshing and very pleasant
I bought this fragrance blind, 21€ for 100ml. Right away it has definitely been worth it.
The flakon is nice, nothing special but good enough (he looks different in the meantime, have uploaded a photo)

When you spray it you immediately get the feeling of a very dense, partly sweet pineapple, for me it smells authentic to it. And it doesn't change much as it goes on. It's a pleasant freshi, with very good longevity, if you like pineapple as a scent, I highly recommend it. You should not expect a roja, it smells synthetic fresh, modern ambroxan and pineapple.

It gets woodier but always stays pleasantly sweet with it, the drydown reminds me a lot of hacivat but it doesn't have much in common with aventus, which is a good thing.

I think it is a very nice perfume for warmer days I could test it but only in the winter so far. :) and even in winter the durability was very good for such a fragrance. I do not regret the purchase at all and will definitely empty the bottle

Signature Potential
In search of the countless Aventus Dupes I came across Swiss Arabian - Shawq. So far I knew only the Shaghaf Oud Abyad, and that goes in a completely different direction. Price outstanding, partly also under 20 euros on 100ml to have. In Dubai it would probably go even cheaper. That's a real shame, Dubai is my #1 holiday destination, been there four times in the last 8 years, but never shopped for perfumes. That will change next time.

Flacon has exceptional design. I was a little baffled, as the bottle arrived with me not quite full to the brim. Fake I can exclude but with this dealer, especially since yes also packed in foil.

First spray - Hallelujah, that's it, the sought-after pineapple-heavy Aventus copy. You can even smell some smoke, and smoky pineapple is the part of the Aventus DNA that I love. I saw myself arriving at the goal of the search. My new signature scent. Sprayed on a paper as well to compare the longevity, which is average (which, again, means above average for an Aventus dupe). Unfortunately, the smoke in the heart note dissipates quite quickly. What remains is the sweet pineapple, which then lasts a good while. A bit of a monothematic drydown then, not much more from Aventus. That is then also the big weak point. And with that, the best use is layering. Already tried with La Rive Black Creek, gives a good composition, the La Rive is of course weaker. I think it runs better with Afnan Supremacy Silver, which I like very much. L'Aventure would be an interesting experiment. Maybe Shawq can dampen the citrusiness and the too harsh top note a bit. I don't know Club de Nuit Intense yet. Should complement each other nicely, though, since it obviously lacks pineapple. Insurrection is too weak and would be completely dominated. Perhaps even suitable to balance a smokier batch of the original Aventus.

So from me clear buy recommendation, if you like me particularly on the pineapple in the Aventus DNA stands.

A strange clone named Desire
Swiss Arabian Shawq, in Arabic probably synonymous with longing, was actually intended for me as an alternative for Creed Aventus. In any case, I could read in several posts that he could certainly come into question. After I had already tested Al Haramain L'Aventure and found it a bit too woody and smoky, I ordered SAS among others. Also I had already thought of layern.

Now I have to add, I also tested Cetrat Boise and Nishane Hacivat as samples. These were also recommended to me as alternatives to Aventus. So why not order samples and compare. And while they've all been called similar to Aventus or Aventus clones before, and the ingredients definitely suggest an Aventus clone, they all don't really have much in common for me. One is too distinctively woody, the other not enough, the other too sweet and so on. But now to Swiss Arabian Shawq.

SAS opens with an initially slightly fresh and fruity pineapple. The currant makes it a bit more fruity and sweet, perhaps a bit too sweet. The woody notes stay too much in the background and could have more pep in my opinion. I can't detect the lily of the valley too directly, probably because it gets lost in the initial sweetness. Patchouli barely makes an appearance here either, so a certain smoky, earthy distinctive touch is all but absent. Instead, Ambroxan makes itself felt and at that moment comes the surprise.

Swiss Arabian Shawq reminds me much more of a sweet, pineapple-heavy Sauvage perfume with a splash of Francis Kurdjian's Gentle Fluidity Silver, both of which I have. The ambroxan in Sauvage is just unmistakable and those synthetics of Gentle Fluidity I just think I recognize too. This may sound a bit far-fetched, since completely different fragrances were used for this, but I just can't help but get this impression. Does that awaken longing in me? Not so really.

Do I need a fragrance similar to Sauvage Parfum with associations to Gentle Fluidity Silver? No.

On its own, it's rather not enough to make me buy SAS. In the end, however, I tend to simply layer this fragrance with spicy, woody L'Aventure. Who knows, maybe that results in longing.

Aventus? No... differently unique.
I came across the scent more by chance... once again there were offers for scents with higher prices, which you still don't want to buy blind, but only if tested, recommended and approved by the community.

I mean PDM was on the list, but I still came up with this supposed CA Dupe. ... hmm... so be it. I searched for some hints of a TOP P/L and found it quite quickly ... go to the shopping cart --> ordered. 2 days later I was allowed to test my blind purchase ... as so often, skin- and test-leaf result are not in agreement ...

One thing immediately occurred to me, with Aventus, it has nothing to do with anything... On the test sheet it comes in the top note, it comes with a very strong, loud soapy, fresh citrus note (the bergamot), on the skin - in my case - and a bit softer. Musk and patchouli are a pleasant addition ... Ambroxan, I suppose, is the freshness factor. Lily of the valley and black currant, I do not smell through, neither on "paper" nor on the skin
I see the fragrance in my free time and rather in warmer months. I would classify durability at a deserved 7.5, the Sillage is strong, I also see it at 7.5. The fragrance itself doesn't tear down walls, but it doesn't have to hide or be called an imitator. I give it a 7, maybe I'll revise it upwards once again. The bottle, like a simple blue barrel that fits well in the hand, comes across. Nothing unusual, a well-intentioned 6th

Conclusion: If you like fresh, citric scents and don't shy away from blind buying, you are not doing anything wrong here.

P.S. For every P/L blind buy tip that is EXCEPTIONAL and follows my taste (see collection), I am very grateful.

Shawq was a blind buy due to the price and the fruity notes. I got pineapple & smoky birch so maybe another Aventus clone - one to many!

Good Aventus Creed's interpretation at little cost. Fruit and marine notes are predominant. Perfect for spring days.
