Double-edged iris

A wonderful floral opening, creamy-clean iris, citrus and lily shake hands... but then... it becomes sharper, woodier, cedar and musk enter the stage. There is little sign of the initial delicacy. When oud and patchouli serve up the final course, it's over for me. So won, so lost!

A scratchy, woody scent remains on the skin, which suffocates most of the charm of the top note. If I could, I would pull the first few minutes of the fragrance out of the bottle and quarantine the rest.
