What is it with everyone and raspberry soda?
The scent is neither artificial nor exaggerated - it has a very clear development
but without being boring, even though the name doesn’t quite fit for me, as the tea is a bit lacking here.
At the beginning, there’s a powerful citrus kick that doesn’t last too long
and for me, it doesn’t have anything piercing or (as many like to compare with citrus scents)
WCl cleaner-like, but simply comes across as wonderfully zesty,
just as I expect from a ripe organic lemon.
I can only faintly perceive its companion, the raspberry,
which I find a bit disappointing, as I was curious about this combination -
to me, it doesn’t smell raspberry soda-like.
After about 3-5 minutes, the first "citrus shock" is already over
and the scent leads you, like after jumping into a cool pool,
into a cozy relaxation room, where someone is waiting with lukewarm green tea and some ylang-ylang massage oil. The tea is quickly consumed, but the massage continues, after a while,
once you’ve nicely dozed off, the masseuse is replaced by a strong masseur,
who brings a whiff of warm wood scent from the sauna
and works a bit more firmly, but never becomes rough.
This light woody base lingers for quite a while, close to the body, yet well perceivable.
All in all, I would say it’s a well-made and pleasant summer scent
suitable for both ladies and gentlemen, as it is neither sweet nor too resinous.
Considering that this is an "organic fragrance"
from ecological agriculture, I would give it a solid 2,
if I were to give ratings.
However, for the naming, there’s a need for a retake!
