I can't believe how much this has grown on me. It felt like a big-personality fruity-musky mix when I first tested, but I've been occasionally spritzing on the tester and finding it to be so likable! It's quite breezy, like fresh laundry washed in a fruity detergent. I used to say I didn't like musks, but I'm finding here (and with some others, like Malin and Goetz's Strawberry) that I'm actually just *picky* about my musks.

It's boldly, unapologetically feminine, but not too young/girly. At the same time, it's not a "grown up" or office-friendly kind of scent. So if I were to purchase after emptying my tester, I'd probably just get a travel mini to reach for on the odd date or weekend day.

I LOVE this perfume! It’s so bright, sharp and the perfect blend of sweet and crisp.

It’s shockingly similar to the discontinued Issey Miyake Florale.

A very sharp, not really office friendly but clean and perfectly sweet. It gives me such a dopamine hit! The bottle is beautiful matched with a cute coral colour.

Can’t get enough of this one honestly. I wear it year round no matter the weather. It doesn’t last particularly long for its initial strength, but I absolutely do not mind reapplying her

I'm bummed this is my first experience with a Valentino Donna Born in Roma flanker. Given the OG's reputation, and the loyalty the line engenders, I expected much better.

I know a mix of floral and fruit isn't terribly inventive -- even if the orange/kiwi and rose/jasmine blend here is somewhat unusual -- but I hoped for something more interesting considering both the price tag and the pedigree. Even the ambrette at the base is a snore.

Total disappointment. Perhaps I'll give it another spin at some point down the line and it'll really blossom for me, but I don't have high hopes.

This has a sweet and fruity opening. This is interesting because the kiwi and orange combined smells similar to pear. There is a light touch of floral notes that aren't overly heady and don't overwhelm the fragrance. The ambrette and musk is adding a nice warmth. The base notes aren't animalic and do a good job of adding some contrast and grounding the sweet and fruity top notes.

Overall this is well balanced, fruity and sweet. The fruity notes have a slight artificial edge, similar to fruity body sprays but overall its nice. On the strip it has more fruity overtones vs on skin where the musk and ambrette start to pull forward more. It gives me the same aura of Ana Abiyedh Coral but less synthetic and with a musk backdrop. It leans more young adult because it gives a "tutti-fruity" quality but adult enough just because of that musk edge. It's not doing anything other worldly but it's an approachable fragrance that anyone can enjoy.

I have to break a lance for Valentino Donna Born In Roma Coral Fantasy - the kiwi is really well executed here, I haven't noticed anything like it anywhere else. The scent is just fun and very wearable in summer. Yes - it is a sweet, slightly squeaky fragrance that radiates incredibly good vibes.
As a professional woman in the office, I might not necessarily wear it, but it's very suitable for an after-work cocktail on the terrace.
Valentino Donna Born In Roma Coral Fantasy is my "guilty pleasure" fragrance that I wear with a lot of fun and conviction.
