Unusual fragrance from the early 2000's and nothing like I imagined from the note pyramid...
I got my decant from a friendly fellow fumehead, who is very fond of it. I found a few reviews here and there online, but none of them really described the scent. Personally, I don't get any mandarine, bergamot or patchouli from this. The opening is a blast of myrtle, cardamom and nutmeg - dark, sharp, peppery-eucalyptus-like (probably due to the myrtle) and almost bordering on ammonia. I don't recall having tried other scents where the myrtle is so prominent.

The heart reminds me of the powdery tar and rubber notes from Bvlgari Black with some soapiness due to the violet. The drydown is musky with cardamom and sandalwood, inoffensive and bears a little resemblance to the drydown of Body Kouros, but not as sweet. Projection and longevity are pretty average.

Apart from the opening, which is unfortunately way too sharp for me, it's an okay scent but IMO not at all worth the crazy prices I've seen on the Bay.

Would you like some champagne over your head?
No, this is not a Formula 1 race! ;P

Versace's "Jeans Couture" for men is described as spicy-fresh, with most people perhaps more imaginable under the term "citric-woody-fresh".

It's a typical men's fragrance that smells fresh and woody, but at the same time somehow special and somewhat special. I find the name very fitting, it actually reminds me of a French model who is presenting the latest jeans trends on the catwalk and then going out to celebrate with his friends with champagne
Young, sympathetic, attractive, light-footed, but still not pushy, so you like to have him with you.

Ironically, the smell actually reminds me a bit of sparkling wine: this tingling, and this slightly sour freshness... with a little sweetness. Unique to me. Really beautifully tuned!

I think this little masterpiece is really special, but so timeless and wearable.

The fragrance is best compared to the vintage version of "Abercrombie & Fitch - Fierce", where Jeans Couture is clearly distinguishable - so it's not a clone... more of a boozing companion! ;P

To round off the overall picture, I would like to add:
Please don't imagine a perfect, multi-layered niche fragrance - because that's not jeans couture at all!
It hardly has a course for me, so 90% of what you will smell until the next day is in the opening.
(And you will, the durability is really good with me...)
He then sits down a little bit, becomes a little more relaxed, and more to an aura, - that is, the lively attitude withdraws a little bit.
But he always remains very present, I smell him on myself far more than many current fragrances from the mainstream!

I will probably sell one of the two flacons, because I bought two a year ago in my buying frenzy. ':D
(By the way, the bottle is really pretty, even if it's made of plastic, which makes it feel less expensive from the moment you pick it up.)

But now enjoy again :) The attitude to life that Versace conveys to me here really fascinated me.

Chapeau, Versace!
