Noble Rosé Champagne
This fragrance truly surprised me and won me over within seconds. Champagne meets a noble rose and is astonishing. The scent notes are perfectly balanced. Not too fizzy, not too sweet - simply perfect.

The bottle alone describes how this fragrance smells. Super beautiful, super elegant - perfect on a woman!

Rosé and really like a Rosé
So I have had this fragrance for 2 weeks now and have worn it a few times. It is super and a compliment magnet, but a bit expensive for 50ml; however, it smells like a Rosé, just a bit sweeter - great scent!
You can wear it as it smells all over the place, and it has a very unique scent. If you have the money, it's definitely worth a recommendation.
Otherwise, definitely try it out in the store.

Rosé Champagne Crush
I was lucky enough to test the Louis XV 1722 de Venoge rosé in one of my favorite perfumeries before it was even available for purchase. I honestly admit, there hadn't been a single Xerjoff that convinced me until then. So I was initially very skeptical but curious.
At first, I had a real champagne crush in my nose, and I was truly surprised. The theme was 100% spot on, perfectly executed. Rosé champagne, fruity, not sweet, without any overpowering alcohol scent. Exciting. I set the test strip aside for a moment and continued testing other fragrances, but I kept picking it up again and was increasingly enchanted. The soft, in no way synthetic rose began to surface more and more, with the fruit note still pleasantly in the background. I had never smelled anything like this before; it is definitely unique. And beautiful, right?! Yes, beautiful. I love rose. And I have always enjoyed drinking rosé champagne. I kept putting the test strip down and picking it up again. I couldn't help it, and all the other fragrances became uninteresting. I experience this rather rarely. Unfortunately, I had no more space on my skin to test it there. However, I was allowed to take a sample home and test it on my skin the next day, lucky me.
And I fell in love. With every sniff more. The Louis XV rosé is a beautifully mature, sparkling, uniquely fascinating champagne rose that develops beautifully soft on the skin. It doesn't annoy. It doesn't shout, but it's still there. Elegant, self-assured, lively.
After 2 weeks, I received the email that it was now available in the store, and it moved in with me. My first Xerjoff. Just the bottle is so high-quality and beautiful, the famous luxurious Xerjoff packaging in royal blue and rosé, regal. And it does 100% justice to the fragrance.
I now have a crush on Louis XV 1722 de Venoge rosé. I have never been so royally in love.

A Fragrance Journey with Patience
I managed to snag a sample in the souk. During the first test, I was once again disappointed... What is this? Somehow synthetic? Is there more to come?

An hour later, I sniffed my arm again and thought: Wow! This is so fresh... and dry... A champagne! I actually quite like this. But I need to test it again.

The next morning, the scent was still there and still fresh and really beautiful.
The next test was equally successful.

At first, the scent is synthetic and hard to interpret. For me, it was a bit powdery at the start.
However, the fragrance has a long and very changing progression. The synthetics disappear for me, and it becomes sparkling and fruity, but not really sweet...

In the end, I smell a rosé champagne...

Through this exciting progression, I was then convinced. The scent needs time and patience.

For me, it is quite close to the skin, but with very good longevity.

Stronger, sweeter, more powdery and more pedestrian than its predecessor. The rose overwhelms any champagne note that might be present.

Rose water, raspberry and sparkling Mateus Rosé blend into a synthetic, cheap-smelling opening. Vanilla and musk in a flat drydown.

What the original should've been. Fresh-spicy champagne vs. light-dewy rose, rounded out w/ fruit & sweetness. Borrows from LLI's Dom Rosa.

I don't want to know what this scent costs to make.
Ultra-synthetic in a coarse, inelegant way. Artificial rose water.

Freshly sparkling and fruity-rosy expected, but unfortunately it unfolds dry-plum, woody, and slightly dull. I'm disappointed.

Little opulence, little Versailles, little Baroque. Too much synthetic rose, musk, alcohol. That's all I smell.

Champagne fizz, a hint of rose, cassis, late summer evening. Elegance and sweetness come together, bringing a smile to your face.

This is how the first one should have smelled for me,
Beautifully sparkling rose + champagne vibes.
Exactly like just sabered a bottle of sparkling wine.

A very harmonious, zesty-fruity rose scent. I don't get champagne vibes. Scent/Strength okay. Too generic for the price asked.

Rosé champagne in a glass, sparkling, effervescent, feminine, subtly fruity in the background
fades away too quickly for me.
