No lasting power at all

Opens with a beautiful aquatic accord surrounded by a great and well balanced ginger note with a touch of violet and then... nothing.

It does smell GREAT in the opening, but it does not last more than 30 minutes in the skin. I wish the ginger note with the aquatic one lasted more, that's why it let me down.

If this fragrance lasted more it'd be one of the best summer scents easily.

Fragrant greetings to the community,

this is my first review of a fragrance on this site, so please don't be too hard on my virgin words ;).

Shortly after inhaling, a few thoughts pop into my head.

First of all, I have to say that this EDC smells very familiar and fresh. I definitely notice the aquatic notes and bergamot. Only the ginger, which is advertised so prominently on the bottle, remains a mystery to my nose. (Maybe it's because my nose isn't very mature yet, who knows)

However, the longevity/sillage and therefore the price/performance level (this fragrance is apparently no longer available, yet the internet keeps spitting out ranges between 100-150 euros) are bottomless. As soon as the fragrance is sprayed on, it only delights my olfactory senses for a very short time. That's not enough for me, even for an EDC.

In conclusion, I can say that this fragrance was a nice interim find in my old cupboards, even though it is no longer there.

Hello everyone,

today I would like to say a few words about L'Homme Cologne Gingembre and indirectly issue a warning.

I know there are many who love the scent of the old La Nuit de L'Homme Eau de Toilette very much and almost idolize it (some). On the other hand, I'm not a fan of 321 flankers^^(fictitious number), but with this one... phew you have to want that.

Why?

First of all, purely from a collector's point of view, you can take it, BUT if a Echt Kölnisch Wasser Eau de Cologne or almost every Mexx, Bruno Bannani or, for example, Calvin Klein, Playboy fragrance and co. perform better (i.e. drugstore fragrances), then I ask myself do you need it? Is it worth it?...

You can also say 1, 2, 17 words about the performance, but if it is not - really not there, then that is a strong piece..., in the sense of spraying it on... "here I am, here! and gone..." unbelievable...

Recommend for those who want to use it... - better leave it
and rather invest your good money in something GOOD...
