A Sensually Woodsy Incense
At first smell, this is a basic fragrance of incense with traditional scents dominating, but there's a certain woodsy sweetness here that sets it apart. While it opens dominated by incense and myrrh, there's a subdued sweet scent that I've found in candles more than perfume (likely the benzoin). There's a gorgeous interplay of leather, woods, and mushroom that keeps this scent distinctly different from the darker, smokier nature of most incense scents. The aroma opens into something sensual, perhaps driven by the opoponax and patchouli. It is alluring and intriguing without being unwearable.
While I think this scent could be enjoyed by many people, I expect it is not what nearly as many people want to wear. Projection and longevity are medium-long, as with most Adi ale Van scents. Highly recommend sampling if you enjoy incense scents.
