Smoke Amongst the Pines

Adi ale Van scents never fail to impress and intrigue. Yet another powerful perfume with a unique blend of aromatics, starting resinous, spicy, and green with a hint of smoky undertones. Over time, this scent opens up into a fruity, yet not sweet, space and develops a more incensed quality. After a couple hours, it starts to cut back significantly in its projection but lingers as a woody, earthy, and smoky scent. The musk helps here to freshen up this smoke and given it a certain light quality. For lovers of green, resinous, and smoky scents, this is absolutely worth a try. I wish it persisted a bit longer, like many other Adi ale Van scents, but it may also just be the sample I have. If anything, I do wish the fruit was a bit more present in the evolution and think a brighter, citrus note might balance well.
