Dark Green Beauty
Whoa... this is something incredible. It's a bizarre amalgamation that reminds me of a scent I smelled in the Yankee Candle factory as a kid, yet it's also so different. An incredibly unique green scent that would be great for warmer season evenings or daytime in colder seasons. There's so much here. Dark Weed is metallic yet rosey floral, citrusy yet dank, tart yet smoky, woody, and animalic. Somehow, through all of this, it carries a certain spicy aroma that reminds me of holiday candles? I absolutely love this scent.
If it was up to me, I'd wear this a lot. Unfortunately, this is not a crowd pleaser from what I can tell. My partner can't stand the smell, and the projection here is pretty massive. For the first hour or so, this thing radiates. Throughout its reasonably long life, it maintains decent projection. These things combine to make this a tougher fragrance to wear, which is a shame because it is an artistic masterpiece.
Highly recommend sampling if you contact Adi ale Van and get a discovery kit made custom. The bottle is unique and gorgeous, but it's on the higher end price-wise so be sure you like this before you get it.
