My reaction to a blind test, only found out afterwards what was in the bottle
I immediately fell in love with this tart, oily top note, very ethereal and invigorating. I like it when a fragrance has something bitter. I also like bitter food and cook a lot with herbs. And this fragrance has something so awakening, clear, determined through this bitter note. It flickers a little in my nose, like a slight tickle. In the sillage, I also perceive a beautiful, broad, floral note. A wonderful spring fragrance that transports me to northern Italy, a few decades into the past. Goes well with the movie "Call Me By Your Name". I have the feeling that all the grown men in this movie smelled like this. Men you look up to, who you trust and who have earned your respect. A white wine in the garden at lunchtime, a richly laid table. The deep satisfaction of always having done the right thing in life. Old trees that have always been there provide shade. Schedules play only a subordinate role. And the sun is a little more golden here than elsewhere.
A wonderful, dry vetiver (??) base comes in the DD. I wore the fragrance to work today and again received an enormous number of compliments. At the beginning, but also again and again after hours. The fragrance just suits me. I think it's such a self-confident fragrance. I can't explain exactly which accords trigger it for me, but it's this serious, masculine scent that exudes both power and calm for me. The definition of "being grown up". Quite a wonderful thing
