Tonka bean where there is none
While testing on strips at dm I thought to myself: ouhhh yes! A Gorumand fragrance, I'll take it on my hand for further testing!
I smell a kind of spicy chocolate on the way out and tonka bean! ...and vanilla!
The (apparent) tonka bean then quickly becomes stronger and spicier.
Then I look at the notes at home and have to laugh. Coffee? So no, not with all due love.
Patchouli and jasmine are noticeable and carry the fragrance along spicy and sweet. Perhaps it is also the mixture of these two + pepper that creates the tonka bean effect.
After 45 minutes, another little surprise: the fragrance becomes somehow fruity-sweet (is that the trailing pear?) and reminds me of pink chewing gum.
After that, however, it finds its way back into the gourmand range and ends up as a quiet chocolate-pepper-patchouli-noble woody note fragrance.
