Four-Part Harmonies!
Once again, I have a "blind swap scent" under my nose! And once again, no real disappointment. Because this is not a "noble chic trendsetter scent" or a cheap mass-produced concoction. Here, you have something with solid fragrance quality that works for all 4 seasons. Or a flavor quartet - or a four-part harmony.
For it is NOT too complex. But well "mixed" with flexible "melodies".
A spring breeze of powdery iris lays itself on flakes of cold snow with a hint of musk.
Summer fruits gently warm and berry-like in the middle background. Fine, bittersweet autumn winds, heralding from damp coniferous forests, lay like delicate veils of mist underneath. Lemons, vanilla, and amber like a thin but warming wool blanket on top. Despite good longevity and projection, hardly anything is too much of a good thing. I do perceive a tiny flaw, or rather, I sniff it in its tendency to be slightly too sweet for my nose, which is more noticeable in the "drydown" than throughout the entire progression.
Overall, a good and solid "designer" of the casually elegant Italian kind.
And not just for "ladies"! :-))
