Four-tone harmonies!
Another "blind swap fragrance" that I have under my nose! And again, not a real disappointment. Because this is not a "posh chic trendsetter fragrance" or a cheap, mass-produced bottling broth". You have something in solid fragrance quality for all 4 seasons. Or a quartet of aromas or a four-tone harmony.
Because it's not too complex. But well "mixed" with flexible "melodies".
A spring breeze of powdery iris lies on flakes of cold snow with a pinch of musk.
Summer fruits warm gently and berry-like in the middle background. Delicately tart autumn winds, hinting at damp coniferous forest, lie underneath like a delicate veil of mist. Lemons, vanilla and amber cover it like a thin but warming blanket. Despite good durability and radiance, there is hardly anything too much of a good thing. I see, or rather sniff, a tiny shortcoming in its characteristic of being slightly too sweet for my nose, more in the "drydown" than throughout.
Overall, a good and solid "designer" of the casually elegant Italian kind.
And not just for "ladies"! :-))
