Hidden strawberry gem

It's crazy that this doesn't have a strawberry note listed! I smell it so clearly, and it's very similar to the one in Burberry Her. I wouldn't call Bella Donna a dupe, but it definitely took some inspiration here. Burberry Her is a denser and heavier scent though.
In Bella Donna, rose stands out as the main note besides the phantom strawberry and makes the scent fresher and more floral. The juicy pear and a touch of sparkling pink pepper add to that. It's still a fruity and sweet scent, but in a more invigorating way.
I see no resemblance to Baccarat Rouge 540 at all, but I also don't really get that from Her.

At first I thought this was most fitting for spring, but then I sampled it in store on a rainy late autumn day and found the fruity sweetness quite uplifting on my way home.

The bottle design looks a little too understated for the scent. It's much more playful than you'd expect. The pink coloring is very fitting though.
I won't go out of my way and buy this, but if someone wanted to gift me a drugstore fragrance, I'd be happy to get this one. If I had tested it blindly, I might have thought it was by a more pricey designer.

Young Italy Woman

I think it has the cheeky and charming sensuality for a young woman. I smelled it on my dear young colleague - her office smelled very good and the two colleagues were tame that day and courted this little queen. It has something warm about it, a restrained floral note and is appealing to me. Beautiful, simple bottle and a perfectly acceptable price. A nice little gift for in-between .... has something of Italian joie de vivre about it for me.

Really good!

Without knowing the fragrance pyramid, I tested Bella Donna. I found it really nice, especially in the first half hour, after that I could slowly sniff out the pink pepper and then it was over for me. Ever since I tested the Chloé dupe from S. Oliver, I've had a little pink pepper trauma. It smelled almost exclusively of it and I've been at war with this note ever since.

But I have to say, if I didn't have a problem with pepper now, this would be a really nice fragrance! Especially because it smells a bit like a very light and feminine version of Baccarat Rouge. I can smell the peach a bit more than the pear here, but the fruitiness isn't too squeaky.

The shelf life is also really good for the price. I could still smell it clearly on the test strip even after 24 hours.

It may not be anything exciting or very special, but it's definitely a relaxed, nice everyday fragrance.

Bellini in bed

This fragrance surprised me on Friday after work, when I actually wanted to go to the drugstore to get some cat supplies.
Always on the lookout for a delicious peach, I was actually stuck with Bellissima, which unfortunately didn't convince me.

It was really only by chance that I sniffed the Bella Donna set up next to it and it literally snapped me out of my drugstore boredom.
Imagine you're drinking a Bellini in bed on a bright spring morning in a hotel room, the windows open, the scent of flowers wafting in, and your BR540 hair mist, which you only use extremely sparingly, wafts a little in the warm, fresh breeze around you after a while, when your senses are already intoxicated with peach and Prosecco.

That's what it smells like.

First peach and pink pepper (which I love very much), then jasmine, bright and not indolic, gardenia, a bright fresh rose.
Only late the drydown with musk, and cedar wood, which probably causes this BR effect.

The composer is not just anyone: Lucas Sieuzac is the creator of Jubilation 25 Woman Eau de Parfum , Ciel Man , Reflection Man , Reflection 45 , Givenchy's Play series, Carolina Herrera VIP etc.

I would really like to ask all those who dislike BR per se not to be put off by this impression. It's a beautiful and uncomplicated but completely underrated and underappreciated women's fragrance that I would never have expected. In the DM. On Friday evening! Very well done.
