I hadn't even considered this one... Today, I fell into a real testing frenzy at the drugstore - living in a village means you rarely get the chance to test fragrances. And so I sprayed what felt like half the range on the test strips. In the end, I got a two-minute deadline from my husband - in a panic, I grabbed this one - and was very taken aback! Wow, it's strong! And good!
Eleganza Rossa, I had never heard of it before and had never seen it on any shelf in a store. I picked it up because of the beautiful color of the bottle.
I was enveloped in a warm-sweet cloud. Upon closer sniffing, it became floral and creamy as well. I particularly smell the peach, jasmine, and deep down, vanilla.
I quickly noticed that this one bears a strong resemblance to Soul Garden by Betty Barclay. But Eleganza Rossa is not quite as heavy; the slightly stronger floral note makes it lighter. I'm thrilled!
I couldn't bring myself to buy Soul Garden - but since my husband also likes this one, it will probably end up on the wish list.
