A good mood from the bottle
You know when you're totally pressed for time and then make illogical decisions? That happened to me again today.
Somehow I had completely ignored the Bugatti fragrances until now, they just got lost next to the often much more striking other bottles and names. I had previously placed Bugatti in the same category as other very affordable designer brands, of which I had the impression that they wanted to be somewhat banal, flat and suitable for the masses in order to appeal to as many people as possible, but unfortunately created rather boring fragrances. Once again, superficiality got the better of me and I judged the fragrances without having tested them first.
But today, time pressure made me give this brand a chance after all. First I sprayed on Eleganza Rossa (positive surprise) and then Felicita. Given the color of the bottle, I was expecting a rather soft floral fragrance with little depth, but I was wrong.
This fragrance put a smile on my face as soon as I smelled it - first of all because of the big surprise. It's completely different than expected! Lots of fruit, but there is such an elegant, finely tuned floral, light and slightly fresh note right from the start, which is very easy to perceive despite its lightness. With every subsequent sniff of the test strip, I had to smile again because this fragrance simply made me feel so happy. I have rarely experienced that. - But I was in a hurry, so I quickly got in the car and set off.
I couldn't take my nose off the test strip on the drive and that's when I realized which fruit it was: Banana. That was the next surprise. Firstly, I'd never smelled it in a fragrance before and secondly, I was previously convinced that synthetic banana aromas were not for me. Now I know better: artificial banana flavor is not for me, but apparently fragrance is.
And yet I could smell this very elegant, sweet floral freshness throughout, which doesn't smell squeaky like a girly fragrance, but also not old-fashioned or arrogant. This note is very grown-up and yet so full of joie de vivre.
The only criticism I have here is that these two notes are perhaps not 100% coherent with each other, or rather the banana is so loud that it steals the show a bit, although the other notes in this perfume are so beautiful that they should definitely not be forgotten.
All in all, you get a really nice fragrance for your money, which is particularly suitable for the warm season and simply puts you in a good mood
